I have a feeling one or both of the Mercs are going to have a crap start. Lewis really needs to nail it getting away because it's a long haul down into Turn 1.

... and watch out for the Williams who have had some stellar starts recently...

I have the feeling the Ferrari's really turned it up for qualifying which makes me think they'll pay for it in the race.

Well Rosberg will do might do well out of this, or at least better if it comes to anything.

I don't see how, his pressure was even lower that Hamilton's. If there's a time penalty for Hamilton I expect it will be translated into a grid place penalty for Rosberg in Singapore.

It'd be worse for rosberg, he'd have to take a penalty next race, while lewis doesnt care, still extending his gap over what a 1-2 with ros wouldve given.

So assuming the penalty is <25s Lewis will still get 25 points vs Nico's 0 and then he will start the next race as normal (probably in pole, let's face it) and Nico will get something like a 10 place grid penalty.

I'm still amazed at the power Mercedes have in reserve. Leading by 20 seconds then turning up the wick to pull out another 5 on tyres well past their best is simply phenomenal. Pretty sure Rosbergs' retirement has just gifted Lewis the championship too.

Least it is on Sky because I've always found it just another boring street track personally.

It's not really surprising that someone got onto the track...

I imagine if you're determined enough you could probably get onto the track at any Grand Prix but that's just asking for trouble.

Well the first half was a bit dull but the latter half was pretty good.

Shame for hamham, but it makes the championship more interesting.
Rosberg was probably praying for a ham breakdown, but it hasn't really delivered him the points he would've wanted.

Quite a decent midfield race, but dull at the front.

Relevant news: Button in for 2016, not confirmed by button yet but Ron Dennis said they havn't taken their termination option so it's in Jensons hands.

I don't think we're going to see any sessions today, the weather is horrendous. It looks like they will get away with quali tomorrow morning and the race at the normal time, though.

Anyone watching for this on Sky?? Looks to me like their scheduler is stuck halfway between BST and GMT

Isn't the quali now due at 14:00 GMT?

It's ok - Sky just cut a massive chunk out of the Porsche supercup and resumed on the podium celebrations
