Just saw a clip on Football Focus of him arriving in Munich - in an Audi.

That'll endear him to the locals who work at the Bayern Engine Factory....

Audi have been a Bayern Munich sponsor for the last 20 years. I remember seeing the whole Allianz Arena bedecked in an Audi lightshow a few years back.

He's probably going to win something tonight tbh, it's their Community Shield equivalent.

On the back of like 600m or something stupid last season tho...

You'll prolly get Lavia too ;)

You know we are in a new season and folks are still moaning, we are at the the top of net spend some years but not the majority nor are we top overall.

Liverpool fans are just whining because having finally decided to open their wallet wide enough they still got beaten, is Moises worth the money we paid...sadly only time will tell.

This did make funny reading:

Net spend is becoming ever more meaningless, the cost is hidden in the contract, and releases over time.

For example, people still say City only paid ~€60m for Haarland...

Chelsea are cooking a lot of books, the owner seems to be on some sort of bender to sign as many relatively unknown players for well over what they are worth, on very long/expensive deals, as he can.

Zero surprises if something dodgy comes out in the next few years.

Also worth noting, no Champions League revenue, either.

Nah - you separate wages out from up-front and add-ons, so it's still meaningful (if they bother adding the potential add-ons up).

FFP doesn't exist for some clubs.

@Scouse You might be right:

I don't think we should pay over the odds tbh. Let chelski pay more again. 60 million quid for a Man City reject that's only played a handful of games for a relegated side isn't worth it.

I'd rather look somewhere in Europe instead.

Good to see mob rule is alive and well
Mason Greenwood: Man Utd to consult with women's team before announcement on forward's future - Man Utd consult women players before Greenwood decision

It is highly annoying the more noise made about it:

The thing is, he hasn't actually been convicted of anything.

Yes, we all heard the footage, but, I believe he is now engaged to the accuser?

Exactly, it is the same as the Mendy case....they are both innocent in the eyes of the law.

Technically, Mendy is "even more" innocent, it went to court and he was found innocent.

Career over, essentially, though.

Continuing a thread - Peter Schmeichel doesn't understand why we have VAR any more:

VAR is there to correct the wrongs, and when something like that happens and it's not corrected, I don't understand why we have it.

It takes up a lot of time, and takes the breath out of the game. When we have a situation like we did yesterday, it’s clearly the wrong decision and VAR doesn’t intervene.

There are so many things in the game that aren’t for us fans it just annoys you. These little things are just taking up the narrative

Seems to boggle the mind of the chairman who thought any footballer would be running up the M6 to join Liverpool.

Who'd play for Chelski eh? ;)

Chelsea are buying players like I do in FM, bring them in, loan them out, sell them on for a profit.
