Maybe Wenger should sign him back so that Arsenal could finally have a decent striker again :p

Hurling is ok to watch. Can not work out why more people don't get brain injuries playing it lol

It seems counter intuitive, but the more the throw yourself into it, the safer you are.

You're thought at the very first training session as a kid that if you barrel into the man you're marking as he swings, he con only hit you with the bottom of his hurl near his hands, which doesn't have nearly as much power behind it. If you hand back tentatively you're getting a boss in the face.

Prefer Gaelic Football myself.

Really? I think its an utterly pointless game; basically a game invented to be "not (association) football". Hurling stands on its own and is much more fun to watch.

Never tried Hurling but did give G. Footy ago when I first arrived in Dubai. There was a small league among the Irish pubs and I tagged along for training and played a few times for 'The Irish Village'. Was fun but brutal in the heat here. Sadly most of the guys I knew have since left so lost touch with it here. Too old now anyway :) Guess my interest stems from that brief go at the game for a couple of seasons.

Is there a rule about when you have to bounce the ball one the stick when you run? Seems to be a bit random

If the national teams had any back bone they would tell FIFA to FO and start a new organisation. With proper systems in place to stop any wrong doing. FIFA is so corrupt it cant be fixed.

Fucking linesman wants shooting, two clear offsides and Swiss nearly scored from both.

Lol how was that not a pen, through the man to get a ball. Officials seem quite one sided. 3 terrible decisions in space of 10 mins.

So England will win the Euros then?

I doubt (and hope) we don't even qualify. If we limp into the competition the FA will be all back slapping and business as usual.

...actually even if we don't they will probably be the same.

You cannot not qualify with the group you're in. You just won the, on paper, most difficult of your 10 matches
