Care, the Man City of Scandinavia :p
How so? You don't see rich men coming in and giving us big bags is money, unlike other Scandinavian clybs. We've made money on football. I refuse to have my club compared to Man City, so take that back

Giroud out until the end of the year. I guess Arsenal are going to go shopping after all.

I hate to piss on his achievements but he came off his line for both of those penalty saves.

There's are two fucking officials there watching for just that. What's the point? o_O

Fair play to him though. He dived well for someone with such big balls. ;)

Aye Georgie, I watched it and thought the exact same thing. The rule about staying on the line is NEVER upheld by officials. But then also encroaching into box during match penalties also never gets penalised (ie if score and attacking player encrouched - retake. If missed and defender did - retake).

Nope, those two guys may as well just get a cup of tea because he was 2yrds of line everytime and they done nothing.
But yes, as poor as the penalties were, he got solid blocks on them. seen keeps go the right way on such penalties and not have strong enough wrists etc to keep them out. Makes you wonder if the takers assumed he be no good because he a CB. heh

Real selling Alonso, and he's going to Bayern,I know he's 32 now but he's still amazing. Can't help feeling real have made too many changes to a very good team.

I suppose time will tell, but what does that comparison look like against Ramsey?

Tomas Rosicky
Mikel Arteta
Jack Wilshere
Mesut Ozil
Aaron Ramsey
Santi Cazorla
Mathieu Flamini

We have all of that and did not want to spend £150k plus a week on Cesc what a shocker.

Ans not I am not say any of them are better I like Cesc but he is a lot of money for a player who has already dumped us once.

Just a friendly jibe ;). Arsenal certainly have plenty of quality midfielders and certainly didn't need Cesc, but the continued presence of Wilshere in both the Arsenal and England teams baffles me.

Arsenal fans are funny, one sits opposite me at work and they all try to justify why they passed up on a world class playmaker to play Jack Wilshire.

I'm hoping if I keep pretending I haven't seen that yet it will go away. :(

Not all, he is worth the money and we should have taken the opportunity to get him back.

Who would you have chosen as captain? Hart?

As for Jack; he needs a bloody good rest so that he can start to improve as a player again.

In Wenger we Trust.

Ramsey and Song are two midfielders who I myself thought we should bail on but he knows something I don't. I honestly do not know if Jack will ever pull a Ramsey but Wenger does and he did not want to drop a 22 year old English Arsenal fan for a 27 year old Spanish Barcelona fan who is one phone call away from going back.

Henderson ofc! Will be the mainstay of England Midfield and will certainly be the next captain :)
