Pochettino called Danny Rose into his office to tell him he had accepted a bid for him and he was off but he was just winding him up; it was to tell him about his England call-up.

Top lel. Have a nice trip Everton. Apparently there are no direct flights to Krasnodar, so it's a plane ride to Moscow and then 20 hours in bus to the ukranian border, haha

We've avoided any warzones this time around. Which is nice.

I drive past Goodison and Anfield quite a lot..Goodison always has a grandad wreath outside and Anfield is plonked in the shit arsed dumphole of Liverpool..its freakin embarrasing that visitors get off the bus in a bomb site of boarded up terraced houses and smackheads wobbling outside bookies...all those millions and not a single penny spent on even giving the street a lick of paint..sums it up to me.

That'll happen after the rebuilding is done. Not that much point right now. The Anfield area is indeed a shithole, but there are stadiums in incredibly rough areas all over the world that seem to manage just fine (try visiting Parc Des Princes in Paris...Jesus, makes Anfield look like Antibes).

Aren't the smackheads refusing to sell up and or move one of the stumbling blocks for Liverpool renovating the area?

I think they've all been bought out now. The last holdouts weren't chavs, mainly pensioners.

They'd be foolish to rush him with his dicky hamstring, I'd rather they play Drog today and give him 2 weeks to really sort it out.

Di Maria seems to be settling in nicely.

Utd signed Blind? Poor signing imo.

You'll find a lot of Dutch people who will agree with you there. Could write a rant about him, but then again he's bin through enough of that at Ajax. Which should say enough. Utd can only hope he develops the same way Vlaar has (who wasnt too brilliant when he played at Feyenoord).

Edit: He's better at playing midfield, but odds are he will play in the defense (left side). At which he is terrible.

Its a bit weird, playing a shit system and trying to fit square pegs in round holes.

Also finding it hilarious every time Mee gets the ball, especially when he shoots.

Should have been a penalty for the shove on Young, other then that we really not creating much. Rooney and RVP have barely been in the game. Midfield not really gettiing any passing going and the defense keeps making mistakes. Too many long balls being pumped forward.

Solid defensive performance from Burnley though. They often showing a lot more desire to win things then the utd squad

edit:
And that substitution says alot about how we are at the moment. Di Maria off.... Anderson on.
Used to like him, but he hasnt developed at all and the fact he came out talking so much shit last season when he went out on loan really leaves a sour taste when see him on pitch.

Di Maria isn't fit though, don't want to knacker him.

Boy who cried wolf with Young, if he wasn't such a diving flange it might have been given.

Imho our best defender, just so injury prone :( got to respect that he didnt want to go to another club though. Should've kept and started him tho!

well that be 7 pts behind chelsea/city at the end of these fixtures. We still lack urgency and spend too mcuh time passing around the back 3 doing nothing. Still, at least we didnt lose! At this rate we be at least 15pts behind come christmas if we dont improve our quality of play

I read somewhere that united has the most expensive PL squad in history. Money well spent ;)

Seven points off and you haven't actually played any teams you *should* be competing against for league position come the end of the season.

Burnley, Sunderland, I'd definitely say they're playing with teams at their level.

UTDs problem is that teams just aren't scared of them any more.
