Haha, exactly my thought. I love Balotelli, but preferably at another club :) Hopefully he can prove me wrong IF he comes

Get rid of Suarez, replace with balotelli. They must like the media circus to come with controversial players :)

Still, will be entertaining if nothing else and he does have some quality in him. Does anyone know if he learnt how to put a bib on yet?

This whole Mackay/moody/cardiff/LMA thing is just ridiculous

Well, if anyone can make a clusterfuck of a situation, Cardiff can. :)

Entertaining evening football with the Bayern - Wolfsburg game and the Super Copa. Bayern looked like they haven't really evolved from last season, still weird tactics from Pep and an obsession with sterile domination without actually addressing their inability to close out games at times. Showed against Wolfsburg towards the end for sure. Olic's goal was pretty special though. Lewandowski missed some absolute sitters, hope he doesn't do a Torres. :p

Well, we were awful in the first half and should have conceded twice before Costa got his goal but how much we've turned it up in the second half going forward has been really encouraging. Don't think Oscar warrants his place ijn the side right now in all honesty, would rather see Hazard or Willian in that #10 role and the three behind Costa being Willian, Hazard and Schurrle.

Wish I was there today to see Didier's first appearance back at home, but I'm flat broke. :(

Oscar wasn't too bad, hit the post and made a great pass for the first goal. Courtois isn't bad is he?

Has Taylor-Fletcher always carried around that spare tyre?

Ha. First thing I said to my mate when Taylor-Fletcher came on was that if he's calling himself an athlete I'd better head to Cobham for training tomorrow. ;D

Courtois is incredible. The speed he releases the ball when he cuts out crosses etc is brilliant. Don't think Cech would have committed himself in the way Courtois did to keep out Nugent.

The pass Oscar played for the goal was great, sure, I just feel like in general he meanders around too much and gives the ball away a tad more than I want to see from someone in that position. Willian has been immense since coming on.

In the first year Ozil really didn't look worth any where near 40mill, he still hasn't shown any real improvement so far imo.

In 60 minutes of his first game back after having 10 days in training? At least your giving him a fair crack at it.

Hence why I said so far, but in this game he looks exactly like he did last year.

They do sound rather lacklustre like they have done before, people who should be better just seem uninterested.

Bit of a comeback then, although I feel Everton have certainly helped.

Well, Everton were helped by some shocking decisions, so I guess it evens out ;). Arsenal need to have a runner arriving 20 yards past the far post as that is where most of the crosses appear to go :(
