Remy failed a medical by the sounds of it.

A bit dissapointed tbh, at that price I actually thought he would ve one of the bargains of the window. Should be something quite serious to fail a medica (thinking, at that price it might be worth the gamble anyway)?

Im a bit worried at this season, all the other teams seems to have improved while Liverpool looks weaker. Can't believe we still haven't managed to get a left back. But regardless, CANT FUCKING WAIT FOR IT TO START!

Ah, was just throwing that out there in case you weren't aware. Now I think about it, it does stink of something, they'd not likely want to make it public if he's got something seriously wrong with him. Wouldn't want to damage his reputation/chances of getting another club etc.

They could have but them divulging private medical data about someone without their consent would breach several dozen privacy laws. I would think the only person who could come out and say why he failed it would be Remy and why would his agent allow that.

I said half way through last season they would be liquidated or go bust but the usual facepalm crew disagreed.

They could barely pay their wage bill and have spanked 20 odd million on a training ground, coupled with the fact their owner couldn't give a toss about football. Sad to see but better than doing a Portsmouth.

Southampton knew it was coming the Dad said he had an x year plan to get them into the Premiership and to set them up to stay there. When X years were up the family would stop throwing money away so now they need to be self sufficient if they go down they can rebuild on the parachute payment.

If he hadn't have died, they'd have been fine. They're now run by some fat bitch who couldn't give a shit about anything except money. Sounds like she tried selling it before when she first took over, but nobody offered enough to cover the family's investment and value of the club, now she's basically asset stripping so she can sell the club and also make a profit.

The plan was always for the spending to be reigned in now but I agree the fact she has no interest in football let alone the club means she sees it as a business and knows she can take the money from the players and from the TV Deal and sell the club for £1 if she needs too and get her money back.

I always remember reading about a board member who campaigned every year to be able to take and equal share of the profits from Arsenal as dividends (maybe wrong word?) so there would be no reinvestment in the club. It came out that he got the shares he owned (around 4%) from his Dad when he died but this prick was a Spuds fan. He got voted down and sold the shares to the fat Russian in the end.
