That Watford goal, jesus. To be a supporter in those moments, at those matches are what it's all about. Congratulations to them, a Watford v Brighton final would be deserved for the best two footballing teams in the Championship.

Amongst everything else, it's slipped under the radar that Paul Scholes is retiring (for good this time I presume). Easily the best midfielder England has produced in my lifetime and imo one of the best ever. Comes across as a top bloke and I'd love to see him be a successful manager, even if it does seem like an odd fit given how he completely stays out of the public eye. Even as a Chelsea fan, it has been a pleasure watching Scholes play for Utd. Incredible player.

Yeah, him and Giggs are irreplaceable.

TBH these days they're more irreplaceable for the influence in the dressing room than their performances on the pitch. They are replaceable on the field, its just that Ferguson (or the Glazers) declined to do so. I don't think Moyes has that luxury and he needs at least one, maybe two top tier midfielders. He also needs to shmooze the hell out of Rio and Giggs. If he gets them onside, that's half the battle. Going to be very weird for Giggs in particular; at least Rio has played under other managers.

I agree with you about Rio and Giggs and think he would also be smart to bring Evra into the fold. He has always had a knack for creating....I don't want to say cliqe's, because that has such negative connotations.... friendships/whatever among the foreign players and himself as well as being such an old pro.

I think it's as you say. He doesn't like attention. I do think he'll be a brilliant coach though.

FURIOUS Franck Ribery insists he will NEVER speak to Bayern Munich team-mate Jerome Boateng again after the defender drenched the Muslim winger in BEER.
The France star, who does not drink alcohol due to his faith, is livid with former Manchester City ace Boateng for pouring the lager over his head during Bayern’s title celebrations.
Ribery had told his colleagues to keep the booze away from him and was chased around the pitch until Boateng finally got the Frenchman.
The 30-year-old said: “I won’t talk to Boateng again.
“He knows that I’m Muslim. I’m p***** off.”

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't their 'laws' only require them to not drink it (or get drunk, whatever it is)?

I can see why he would be pissed off if he does not want to be around alcohol and had asked that they keep it away from him then they should respect his wishes the cunt bags.

Absolutely agree, still funny though. Especially when you consider it's a guy who thought prostitution with an underaged girl was a-okay, but being doused in beer is grounds to never speak to someone again. :p

If you don't want to be near alcohol, probably best not live in Munich...
