I'm starting to doubt the Hazard Man Utd rumour since they are in advanced talks with Kagawa(£25m)... both of them can't really fit in to the team...

Kagawa is an attacking midfielder is he not? Would fit in well at man utd.

I thought hazard was a winger who can cut in to goal so he could play off Rooney.

Hazard is mainly an AMC, but can play on the left, although he's not quite as effective there.

There's no reason Man Utd couldn't have them in their side. Kagawa as more of a long term Scholes replacement and Hazard as someone who drives forward into the box more. Would require a 4-5-1 if they were to both be in the starting lineup. It's not beyond the realms but I doubt they'll get both.

It's proactive vs reactive football.

I could be wrong but I think Barcelona (and by extension Spain) and their proactive, possesion based game have had a good long run, but the Germans are going to establish a new style to aspire to with their reactive, counter attacking football.

Just an opinion of course. They were by far my favorite team to watch at the world cup two years ago!

12 match ban on top of the 4 match ban for the 2nd red card so that's 16 games. Almost half the season, unless they let him use it up in cup games etc.

We need to keep things in perspective, players have done worse and got less.
