is it really only £27 for a league game? thats well cheap :O

That is the cheapest yep, lower east and west stands. Basically behind the goals but 90% of those seats have a totally unobstructed view anyway.

Thats super cheap. Try asking for a Real Madrid seat. The worst crap at skyscrapper height of the field goes for 30-40€. Let alone the 100€ they ask for a tribune seat....

same with Barca i think.

To be fair to him you have a good amount of dead wood there who aren't playing for the shirt, it is very sad to see. After Anfield though I would want well rid of him as well.

Bit of a grey area that, extremely unfair to the defending side. If sides did it regularly i'm sure it'd get stopped.

Houllier's absolutely ruined the team spirit and togetherness. They would have run through a plate glass window for each other last season but now you hear them swearing at each other and just going through the motions.

Playing two rookie central midfielders and two wingers against Spurs four man midfield, and lets not forget one of our midfielders was returning after about ten months out injured, was ridiculous.

Keeping the system 4-4-2 against a ten man team at home with the striker dropping deep was also beyond stupid. The guy hasn't got a clue.

Saw the Ronaldo goal when it happened... was a joke tbh. It basically takes you back to school field lunchtime football and goal hangers. lol

Muhahaaa! God that does take me back. It was very much my thing, I was always a brilliant finisher but didn't have the size or speed to beat good defenders, goal hanging was completely allowed back then and by god I was productive at it! :D Sadly as I hit mid-teens I ended up playing at right-back because the defenders were getting bigger and just flattening me, did well in defence though because I was always brave in the tackle. Lack of pace was always an issue though and once I started boozing it was game over.

Still got a good finish from what I can tell helping my nephew train but can't even manage 5-a-side now with my back issues. Shame, would love to have one last game for old times sake but the risks are too much.

lmao this is like ghosts of christmas pasts moment for me, as I was the same as soon as I hit the sunday league football I just couldnt be arsed to play after drinking till 1-3 am ;)

EDIT: Had tickets to watch QPR and fucking no trains to london for the strike, ended up missing a 4-0 home win and 2 screamers for goals lol

Well, never seen a more tactically inept and souless performance ever, the best part of that was the final whistle, it was painful to watch.

MM yet again, being the tactical brightspark he is, though that Ward upfront and a very frustrated SEB on the wing would do the trick. Lying about Jarvis's fitness, Fletcher not being used, its fucking insane. Board not bothering to put the money in.. having Keane offered to us on half-wages and turning it down.. fucking idiots, more bothered about expanding to a stadium OF WHICH WE WILL NOT FILL rather then putting the money towards the field (not that i'd trust MM with it).

I'm worried now tbh, we seem to have no ambition in the January window. MM is blind to any of the problems we have. Berra/Stearman/Elokobi should be nowhere near a Premiership defence, two of the latter were the reason we lost today, The whole crowd held their breathe whenever one of them had the ball, awaiting the fuck-up, and boy.. there was plenty.

One thing i'd say..

Big Sam is available, he's a local lad and a Wolves fan. Hoofball or not, he'll get us into a side that will grind out results and stay up. As well as Mick has done, hes such a plank, and we won't move forward with him at the helm. Maybe it's time for Morgan to grow some stones, because frankly today was the one of the worst Wolves performance I have ever seen, even cold nights getting thumped 5-2 at Norwich were better then this. It was.. just bad from start to end.

Boxing Day ruined :/.

I am planning to visit London in the end of the football season.

I had always as a dream to watch a Man Unt. game at the dream theatre.

Silly question:

1) Will i find easily a ticket or i have to book it from now?
2) The transportation from London to Manchester; train or bus the best choice ? anyone knows about prices ?

Train from London to Manchester, or you could actually fly. The bus will take days, they stop everywhere.

You shouldnt have a problem getting a ticket for a Man United game as long as its not versus Man City or liverpool. Ignore the Man United fans who dont go to games claiming they cant get a ticket. My friends NEVER have problems getting as many tickets as they like.

Train from London to manchester is direct and will take about 2 hours. Not sure on price, rough guess, £50? Taxi from Manchester to old trafford, £5. Happy days.

Marc, you can get tickets in advance yep BUT you do need to be a One United member though to buy them as tickets only go on general sale a few times during a season now. Oh and Arsenal, Chelsea, Spuds, Newcastle always tend to be sold out quickly as well. For lower sides you can normal get a ticket easily as long as you don't leave it until the last few days.

Final note, if you look at the stats you will see that OT doesn't hit max capacity as often as say the Emirates. There is a good reason for that, due to the way we allocate space to away fans and the areas we have to put them we have real security issues with certain clubs (City and Liverpool prime examples) so buffer areas are set up and thus capacity is reduced. That problem is mainly down to redeveloping an old ground but also the South Stand needs ripping down to redesign that whole area of the stadium or the problem will continue exist.

Put VdV back in my team but made Cahill my captain as he has been so consistent this season :(

VdV is probably best purchased player of the season?

Still hard to tell, looks like he has too many injury problems at the moment tbh, Mourinho would not have let him go for 8m otherwise .

Taxi??

Just get the metro like everyone else, making sure to get it from Piccadilly station rather than one of the stops in the city centre, it gets rather full on match days

Pretty sure he would have been bench warming the whole season and wanted to leave anyways?

If he really was "one of the best players in the world" as many Spurs fans have been yapping on about then he would not have been bench warming for a team which couldn't even make it past Lyon in the Champions League round of 16.

Where did Liverpool get to in last seasons Champions League?

Struggling to see what Van der Vaart has to do with Liverpool? sorry.

But to answer your question, one round before Real Madrid got knocked out? since Real Madrid spent what? 300m..? that's pretty good :)
