Some interesting hypothetical questions in the guardian football pod today!

If the Premier League was for no-rules fighting instead of football, who would win?

If Barcelona and Real Madrid were the 21st and 22nd EPL teams, where would they finish?

If you made a "dream team" out of the other 18 La Liga teams, would they contend with Barca/RM?

2) Barcelona 1st/2nd , Madrid 1st/2nd/3d/4th. The other 2 teams are as usual Man.Utd - Chelsea.

It would depend where the games were played. I couldn't see prettyboys like Messi turning it on away to Rotherham in a muddy ditch in January's FA Cup, or away to Stoke on an evening kick-off whilst the snow gently falls on the pitch.

hmm i think that we cant compare teams that are in different league actually.

Cause many persons told that Barca would struggle in EPL but let's take an Epl team and put it in La Liga.

The Stoke comment is what sparked it all. Personally i didn't realise that Stoke were the pinnacle of defensive football, I wouldn't be surprised if they wouldn't get a single throw in against Barcelona.

Not holding much hope for Sunderland Vs Man Utd today, mainly as Sunderland are on the bones of their arse player wise, Its going to be a messy cobbled together team we put out which as we're playing at Old Trafford can only end badly.

Old Trafford? Usually £27 for a league game and, £27 for cup games and anywhere from £27-40 for Champions League games iirc. Not cheap but reasonable for Premier League these days, even so I only get to go maybe 5-6 times a season now. My next game is against Birmingham at the end of next month, can't wait. :D

Mon the Hammers. As it stands a Wolves win today and we get out of the relegation zone :D.

Hammers 3-1. Sets up today nicely for any Wolves/Wigan fans, a win for either of us and we dump Fulham in the bottom three as we go out.

Mon me babbies! Heading up town ina sec.

Thats super cheap. Try asking for a Real Madrid seat. The worst crap at skyscrapper height of the field goes for 30-40€. Let alone the 100€ they ask for a tribune seat....

I looked at Chelsea tickets for our next game at home to Bolton and the cheapest was £51, think it's more against bigger teams.
