Shamelessly stolen from RoM!

The Worst United Team In Years (TM)…

1. Won the league by 9 points

2. Contains the Premier League’s top scorer (21).

3. Enjoyed the best home form in Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign, winning 18 and drawing 1.

4. Picked up more points than the Treble winning side of 1999.

5. Booked a place in the European Cup final.

6. Contains the player with the most Premier League assists (18).

7. Lost 4 games, which was at least 4 games less than any other club.

8. Scored more goals than any other club (78).

9. Failed to score in just 5 games, which was less than any other club.

Real.

It's about time he left though, Atletico is harming Aguero's international prospects and a player of his calibre should be winning more.

Only won away 5 times.

The same amount as Blackpool, who were relegated.

No-one has ever one the Premier League with such a poor away record.

Couldn't even beat Arsenal in the latter part of the season.

And so it's official that Pirlo has left Milan :(. Rapidly losing reasons to like them.

He's supposedly ruled himself out of a move to Madrid because of his ties with Athletico.

No doubt we'll go and spaff 50m on him as we clearly need another striker.

Unfortunately, the same stats can be used to demonstrate a weak Premier League rather than a particularly strong United. Same in Europe, the only theoretically top class opposition United have met on the way to the final was Chelsea, which still backs up the weak Prem argument. Of course if United get the result on Saturday, I take it all back, but I think United's central midfield weakness is there for everyone to see. I do think it only requires a couple of new signings (and a new goalkeeper) to correct that.

Yeah go on bitter, focus on one aspect and ignore the nine I posted. How many years since you won anything again? Must be eating alive, you know being 'the side that plays the best football' and all.

I actually feel sorry for City, Tevez goes because he is forced to or suffer the maximum club fine. Ballotelli doesn't show fullstop. The club pay them massive amounts, the fans put thier hard earned benefit payments in and the players just shit in their mouths as a thankyou.

But Ballotelli does it with Mancini's blessing, what a manager he is!

yeah seems to be totally shite communication/standards if he is allowed to return to Italy, but Tevez is not allowed to go home (cant really have one rule for some and another for the rest will only cause discord in the squad and with the manager)

Its not quite the same, Tevez has form in this area so the manager needed to take a harder line. Balotelli should have turned up anyway of course, but City doesn't seem to be a place where the fans actually matter to the players.

I see Tevez is making noises about going back to Boca. I really doubt they can afford his owners' fees.

heh yeah but imagine the feeling, you get a message saying everyone must attend no exceptions blablabla, then you attend and realise that some guy (and a real ass-wipe of a guy) has gotten permission to go when you were forced... not exactly a harmonious work place, thrown in massive egos of footballers and you will have toys thrown out of pram, they could dealt with it much better tbh

will be interesting to see who goes and who comes in

Madrid with Pirlo would be quality.. hopefully doesn't end up rotting at Juventus. Cesspool that place has turned into.

Aguero will go wherever he can win something I bet, he seems to have lost his place in the Argentina team due to playing for Atletico. Which is odd as he would fit into there 'Barcelona lite' attempt to get the best out of Messi.

Would be a great signing for Arsenal but obviously they wont spend. United might be an outside bet, depends on whether Fergie sees Hernandez as a permanent starter or a Solskjaer type squad player.

Hernandez is a permanent starter, Ferguson already proven he sees him that way by kicking Berbatov to the bench and playing Hernandez in a 4-4-2 in games where he would normally go 4-5-1.

Hernandez wasnt meant to be such a prominant player this year, he was going to be blooded and come more into the picture next season. He shocked everyone including Fergi himself.

Berbatov wants to stay apparently. So on the forwards front we really dont need anyone. If anything I can see one of our youngsters (Welbeck or Macheda) seeing the door and not being replaced other than by another youngster through the ranks.

Welbeck would become your 4th choice tbh, Macheda is finished at United and was an absolute flop at Sampdoria, 16 starts and 1 goal to show.

All the various wings of 442 have compiled a list of the 20 most promising under 20's, nice to see a couple of British names in there:

1. Jack Wilshere - Arsenal
2. Erik Lamela - River Plate
3. Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal
4. Adem Ljalic - Fiorentina
5. Alan Dzagoev - CSKA Moscow
6. Iker Muniain - Ath. Bilbao
7. David de Gea - Ath Madrid
8. Neymar - Santon
9. Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva - Sao Paolo
10. Christian Eriksen - Ajax
11. Lacina Traore - Kuban Krasnodar
12. Xherdan Shaqiri - Basle FC
13. Eden Hazard - Lille
14. James McCarthy - Wigan
15. Connor Wickham - Ipswich
16. Ryo Miyaichi - Arsenal
17. Mario Gotze - Borussia Dortmund
18. Jeffrey Bruma - Chelsea
19. Ahmed Khalil - Al Alhi
20. Mario Balotelli - Man City

And 5 promising under 17's

Romelu Lukaku
Muhammed Demirci
Lucas Piazon
Angelo Hernandez (Man Utd have shown interest and a 3m bid apparently)
Zachary Herivaux

Will be interesting to see how many of the ones at 'lesser' clubs move around over the Summer, there's a fair bit of interest in a number of them already.

Good to see Bruma on there, but realistically he has no chance of getting into our first 11 for some time, if he decides to stick around :/
