when was 17th mid-table?

I really wanted you to go down so we could beat you 6-0 at Molineux again :(

Back when you had Bale and Walcott :D? Tbh, rewind to the season we went up where we did you at your end and were 3-0 up after 15mins at ours. ;)

The aim is to be mid-table. O'Hara is a signing for that.

Funny when you hear Redknapp talking about lack of funds isn't it.

We've been making a net profit of £10 million a year on transfers alone according to that.....

although I suppose the 30 for Andy Carrol may have coloured the final figure a bit.

The FA Youth Cup Final second leg is being live streamed on the FA website. Man Utd vs Sheff Utd, 2-2 from the first leg

I was supposed to be going but ended up working 20 miles outside Manchester and couldn't make it without a couple of taxis. :( Got good tickets for the testimonial tomorrow though.

I don't really think it tells you much. If a club had a good squad in 2005 then their net spend will be, on the whole, pretty low. A club like Villa that had a team that was ripe for relegation in 2005 and got a new owner was always going to spend big and have a relatively poor net spend as their shitty players weren't worth two coppers.

I wouldn't class him as bottom end Prem standard. Championship player all the way.

Well considering he played his part in keeping us up when we had spent 90% of the season in the bottom three that he more then enough a good signing for us.

Name better that will want to come to us mate. No kids/random unknown foreigners though.. I know you Arsenal lot.

Utd Youth team have got the lead :D

And does anyone know if Tevez was on the Man City trophey parade? He had booked a flight home and was under threat of a £255k fine for not going so interested if he gave City a big "Fuck you, im off" :p

What will be the line-up for the testimonial? I hope the legendary midfield of Giggs, Scholes, Keane and Beckham play. Would be great to see them again.

No Keane, that won't happen. Lee Sharpe might show up, Becks/Butt/Neville are all confirmed.
