Back when you had Bale and Walcott ? Tbh, rewind to the season we went up where we did you at your end and were 3-0 up after 15mins at ours.

The aim is to be mid-table. O'Hara is a signing for that.

I don't really think it tells you much. If a club had a good squad in 2005 then their net spend will be, on the whole, pretty low. A club like Villa that had a team that was ripe for relegation in 2005 and got a new owner was always going to spend big and have a relatively poor net spend as their shitty players weren't worth two coppers.

Well considering he played his part in keeping us up when we had spent 90% of the season in the bottom three that he more then enough a good signing for us.
