Not to be daft.. but what about Dzsudzsák?

The cheaper version of Sanchez and most likely looking to leave PSV.

Ah yes I forgot Liverpool had bags of cash to spend
You would be surprised from what I have heard ! only time will tell :p I'm not getting in to this again :p

Looks absolutely quality.. would love a player like him at Liverpool :) he would fit straight in to any team in the prem.

He has looked like the only player (bar Suarez) capable of making it at a higher level from the Dutch League, at 24 he should be looking to move on anyways.

Both you and Keitanz are talking about Ashley Young tho.

Getting senile? :)

No, the thread had turned to Sanchez and he wasn't clear.

Back to the point though, Young is a good talent but at £15 million plus £130,000 a week wages there is just so much better value out there. English or not.

Had already went to Barcelona, and was leaving at the start of the season.
Though I did make a ballsup and forget about Van der Wiel, who could easily do the job in some of the top leagues. also Stelkenburg could go United yet.. tbh

Lodeiro isn't as good as he was made out to be, nothing more then a flash in the pan. Vertonghen seems to be a weaker version of Vermaelen, could come good in the future though but won't be leaving anytime soon, that and Alderweireld is the much better one of the two.

Eriksen is the only other major talent, but again is one that won't be leaving the Dutch League any other time soon. Names I can suggest could come good is Siem De Jong/Sulejmani of Ajax and Luuk De Jong/Bryan Ruiz of Twente.

We shall see, still regard Dzsudzsák as the biggest talent likely to leave and cope in a big league this summer.

A quote to a previous post is as clear as it can get on a forum! Senile! :)

I was mainly just saying Affelay since Suarez (who you mentioned) left in the same window, even if Affelay deal was done way in advance.

Even if I am not totally convinced by Affelay yet!

Afellay is talented but I highly doubt he will ever be a starter for Barcelona, he's never been one for the national side. But he has great impact coming off the bench, can cut inside easily and beat a man. Didn't include him as he already said he intended to leave PSV before the season began.

Yep, Ronaldo scored more goals then the whole of Deportivo, and then to think that they won the league in 2000.

was going to point this.

Its a shame they got relegated, one of the classic teams and a former Liga winner.

Well, guess shit happens. Didnt Newcastle got relegated once?

Burkey's been off the pace for a few months now, and Jay was never going to sign for another year, so it was expected. A quality player, but he has some big chuffing flaws which I'm sure I don't have to explain to you, Everz. ;)

There are many murmurings of Bellamy coming back to us next year. Would be nice.

Seems our first bit of business has been done if the local rags/ITKs are to be believed.

£5million to make O'Hara permanent. Quality news if true :D

Hugely enjoyable game at Villa Park yesterday. Perhaps not the first 20 minutes which were pretty tame but once we went ahead with yet another classy goal (and performance) from Downing we never looked back.

Suarez got into good positions but his shooting, with one exception which Friedel made a blinding save from, was pretty hopeless. A good performance from our midfield by Reo Coker (probably his last in a Villa shirt) and Petrov pretty much controlled the game ... until Gary Mac made a very odd choice and took Reo Coker off for Gabby with Downing (who is extremely lightweight in the tackle) moving into the middle.

As news came in of the scores around the grounds people sat there trying to work out who was in the bottom three with fans who were relying on Smartphones becoming increasingly annoyed at the lack of connectivity as 30,000 others had the same bright idea. In the end we had to rely upon the old fashioned radio :)

I've never heard so many Villa fans cheering on Spurs and the celebrations that broke out when Blues dropped into the bottom three were unadulterated pure joy. Very pleased for Wolves, they didn't deserve to go down.

Quite happy to see the back of Blackpool and finish above Sunderland after all the grief their poxy managers gave us in January. Still not quite sure how we finished in 9th place after being so shit for 90% of the season.

Finishing the season with two hard won but well deserved victories away to Arsenal and at home to Liverpool gives the season a feel good factor that it probably didn't deserve. But if we can get shot of Houllier and his cronies and get somebody decent in I feel we have the nucleus of a good side and can certainly compete for a Europa League or Cup Final place next season.

Although I dislike Man City's money it will be exciting to see what they can do next season. It is great to see somebody new in the shake-up, United winning everything is getting very very boring now!
