He'll be sold in the summer, board fucked up his contract situation and he doesn't want to renew now, unless the prospective new manager can convince him otherwise :p

Come again? He is a striker, his bread and butter is goals and what he does for the team, which as the Italian media has highlighted and can be seen by looking at Serie A wasn't enough as Sampdoria plummeted down, not blaming him am i, but it surely doesn't reflect well that a team where Pazzini (10 goals) and Cassano (5 goals - whose boots Macheda was bought into fill) that he only managed one and the team got consequently relegated. Heads surely couldn't have dropped that bad as his first two matches were victories (2-1 Roma and beating Udinese in the Coppa Italia). The likes of Poli and Palombo, Ziegler and what not are all to blame, but if noone is sticking them in.. then its curtains.

As far as the ABU comment goes? How does that work when I'm saying you have better striking prospects and he will most likely never be good enough for United. Makes no sense what so ever.

I'm saying from each time I've seen him he has looked as threatening on the ball as a wet noodle, United have better prospects and that he went on-loan to Sampdoria could indicates that Fergie wants rid? If he wanted him to adapt to the English game would he have not sent him to the likes of Norwich, Swansea and so forth who were all in the market for a striker in the January window?

More like morale plummeted after those two were sold and you are conviently blaming it on Macheda instead, weak and I expected better. Going after a young lad just because he plays for United is beneath you. He has done well whilst playing for United, I have seen him a dozen times or so for the reserves as well, the lad has what it takes he just needs time and a chance in the right side.

Get off the horse you muppet, I'm not blaming Macheda and certainly not going at him because he is United. Did you even bother to read, or like most United lot when involved in an arguement about yourselves instantly switch to some ABU ABU ABU defense when there is no comeback.

I'm saying United have better striking prospects. I'm saying I don't rate him as ever making it at United. If he wanted to be moulded into the English game, I again ask.. why was he sent to Serie A unless it was with a view to be sold?

And how did morale drop, it was a miracle Sampdoria held onto Pazzini and Cassano for aslong as they did. They won there 3 games after the pair left so again.. morale couldnt have been that bad.

I'd like to see him brought back to England and either given a run in the United team in the carling cup or loaned out to an English club then I'll pass judgement. Cant say I ever saw any of the games he played at Samp. I remember thinking he seemed a great poacher prospect but now that we have the little pea I can't see him being that player for United anymore.

lmao, Fergi in the press conference heard basically telling his aid to ban a reporter from Fridays CL conference because he asked a question about giggs :D

That is typical Fergi :) Ask a question that annoys him, you be banned from an important press conference. People should know better.

Strange that, it reads as a pop at a young player because he had a bad 6 months in a new league with a new team that were always going to slide after selling two top class players. You say you aren't doing that but then in your next couple of paragraphs you run the lad down again. Which is it?

As for your comment asking why he was sent to Serie A. He was not sent anywhere, quite the contrary infact. He asked to go there after they approached us and speaking to his agent, Fergie went on record at the time saying he thought a loan at a Premier League club was the better option and that they had such offers on the table, the agent felt that the loan in Italy would help his international chances though and so Fergie gave in. Go back, look at the articles when the loan was announced and Fergie's comments, we were looking to get the lad first team football and definately not looking to offload. The lad is much loved amongst the United faithful and we would go mad if another Rossi situation was allowed to develop.

See, weak again. For weeks, nay months I have been saying nice things about Wolves and wishing them well, even when you beat us. So is it myself that has the chip on shoulder or you?

Step back, have a look.

They don't care to be honest, it is rapidly becoming a badge of honour to wind Fergie up and then tell the story that he is unreasonable. It is a football press conference and they just want to celeb dirtsheet stories, I don't blame Fergie at all for the way he treats them with utter contempt, Jose is the same god bless him.

the whole privacy and giggs thing is the biggest news in the UK at the moment though, what do you expect? he's got off pretty lightly compared to Rooney and JT so far

I love the fact that Fergi does it. There is defending the undefensable on pitch (ala I didnt see it) .... and then there is fergi. If you want to keep it on football terms it is final, get out of line and then you will suffer.

It was obvious that he would not let Ryan train infront of all the reporters because they would have disrupted training in order to try get comments etc. Honestly dont get their surprise at that.

Also, he may have left him out of training as he wants him to play a part in tonights game. I reckon a few of the older, missing players are going to be doing that.

Well you read wrong then. Sampdoria are far from new, from 4th last season to 18th is a huge slide, if you believe that Cassano and Pazzini had carried them then you are extremely wrong. Running the lad down? Or giving reasons why I don't believe hes cut for United, what would you rather me make a statement then boldly claim the 'i am right you are wrong' without any valid justification? He flopped at Sampdoria, what more do you want other then that? Evidence stares you in the face that he flopped there, no full blame on him for them going down, he shares the blame with the rest of the team however.

I just don't see if I'm perfectly honest where he would fit in, the international chances thing barks questions, he was already a prominent member of the u-21 squad and was never going to be anywhere near a break through for the senior squad, and less so after his loan spell. If he makes it, i'll be severly impressed but from what I've seen of him there isn't something there that'll say he can make the grade at United. If I'm honest you are one of the handful of United fans who seem to rate him, everyone else view Welbeck as the better option and the poacher role filled by Hernandez.

I'm not one to write off talent but I truly don't see where he would fit in at United, maybe a loan spell on the Championship would see him good, but honestly, where do you see him fitting in?

It's when a discussion ends up with someone calling out this ABU crap mate. Seriously, it's the best wind-up out :|. It's a united player yes, but has nothing to with your club, infact if anything I praise your club that you have such a bright amount of prospects that the one I'm mentioning has a good chance of never making it at your club.

It's about the player.. the player.
