I heard from fairly reliable sources that Rio was in fact in China Whites the night before his test, and looked more than drunk.

That source would be correct. When i was living in London, China Whites was our place to go to and you always used to see footballers in there and yes they would be doing all sorts of funny stuff, aside from girls and booze, Rio included.

He was also a right Royal Dipstick and we had a lot of fun abusing him!! :)

yep, Blatter is not going to change, not when him and his cronies are in control and making shitloads of $$$

on another note who will be Liverpool manager if/when Roy goes?

my top 3 predictions;

1. Frank Rijkaard - did pretty well at Barca and found some good players
2. Martin O'Neill - one of my favorite managers (as he seems pretty good but at same time a bit crazy in a, i dont take no shit from nobody! kinda way), though Torres/Reina may leave as they might not think he is "High-profile" enough
3. Martin Jol - has prem experience, and didnt do too bad at Spurs (before Ramos came and everything crashed and burned :p )

Top story of today is that Asamoah Gyan had booked a winter holiday under the impression that English football stopped at Christmas #magaluf

he's up there though, despite no trophies, what he's managed with the resources available is outstanding.

i'd have to have mourinho as number 1, only started managing in 2000 and look at him now

Martin O'Neil has got to be the choice for Liverpool, he has worked minor miracles at every club he has managed, has an eye for a player and would also bring alot of enthusiasm and confidence to the players. Always wanted him to manage Sunderland (a club he supported as a boy) but I think he's too big for us now, plus old pillow head is doing a great job here!

oh ye not saying he's not in the top 5-10, but needed to win a trophy or 2 to be in a chance of no1.
I'd have to say fergie would have to be no1 tbh. Consistency, success not much else you can ask for.

The top 3 should be between Fergie, Jose and Arsene but the order is up for debate. All 3 are consistently successful.

The award did state "coach" rather than "manager" and I would say that Arsene has really brought out the very best in some of his players. Both Fergie and Jose have made very big purchases to strengthen their squad. Arsene has made some quite modest purchases that turned out to be phenomenal successes (Viera, Anelka, Henry, Fabegras).

Your mob has plenty, I love it when they ring 5 Live after every loss and call for Wenger to go. :D

yea like i said, every club has them. It's the whole point of being a true supporter. You support your team through the good n the bad times.
