Nah, you can expect a short term spike where the players will up their game but by mid-February it will be grim again unless they let Kenny spend.

In short no. :p If it was a league game I would be more concerned as I don't want us dropping even a point at the moment, as much as I love the FA cup my absolute priority is securing that 19th league title even if that meant going out of the FA cup to the bindippers.

Pretty much same feeling as me, United vs Liverpool is always an enjoyable game. But honestly I don't care if we go out as I want the team to go up in the table (obviously not top4 but away from the relegation battle :p) rather than having to focus on FA.

Lollerpool just don't have the player quality to "up their game" sacking the manager won't make any difference.

Getting a better manager will at least make it more enjoyable for the liverpool fans. It looks like Dalgish is stuck in the role for the next 6 months though :)

He has more steel than Hodgson, for that reason alone I see them slightly improving for a month or so. The problem is that certain parts of the team are very weak and unless he can replace those people it will be very hard to even secure a Europa Cup spot.

Liverpool be more up for the game tomorrow now. Think Kenny be able to spur them on a bit more then hodgson.

Wether the players can do it as a team though I do not know... and as much as I would hate to lose to liverpool, the FA cup aint a priority so I honestly not as worried as i would been if it was a league game.
And to be honest, Liverpool do generally manage to lift their game a bit to play against utd no matter how poor their form been, so it not really gonna feel any different then normal

Leeds taken the lead, Arsenal wasted so many opportunities and so many poor crosses from the byline at the start of the 2nd half.
With that said, i honestlyh cant see how leeds can keep a clean sheet as i can see them sitting back now.

"However, Barcelona still have to negotiate the transfer with Arsenal who have already proven to be resistant to a move for their captain and talisman."

So he won't be leaving then :p

Id rather have Nasri tbh. If rumours are true, hes on his way aswell. How awesomesauce would that be. Wenger would implode.

As for Hodgson, I say, fair play to the bloke. He at least had the balls to have a go at a joke of a club in terminal decline. It will take them a decade to get back to challenging for honours. The worst thing that happened was them fluking the champions league. This result alone meant the pink pig was immune from sacking for a few years, even though his shortcommings were obvious to all except the scousers.

Apart from when Liverpool got to the final in 2007 again and then the semi finals again the year after that. Ferguson has managed 3 finals in 20 odd years or whatever it is, Wenger 1. They are both very good coaches. You dont get to the Champions League final twice without being quite a good coach. Benetiz was the master of his own desmise and is not a very good all round manager of a big team. However I think the bitterness supporters of the other big teams have for him stands as testament for his achievements in the Champions league.
