I think Ashley Cole was the only England player to come out of the world cup with any credibility, the rest all performed woefully, including Gerrard.

only a few clubs would be able to afford the greedy tit. Real is one of them - I bet they want to get rid of Benzema sooner or later, however I can't see Tevez playing under Mourinho tbh.

Cant only blame the manager as the players also have a part to play but its amazing what a good manager can do for a team, you only need to see the effect Redknap has had on Spurs since he has arrived.

Roy is probably good to make sure we dont sink but to take the club forward? No way. I would rather they brought in Dalglish instead.

Back to South America tbh, Tevez's reason do seem more geniune that he is homesick, his family is still in Argentina, can't be easy.

Im sure I read somewhere that the reason Tevez left Argentina is because he was subject to death threats, the reason he has the scars around his neck is that someone set his car alight while he was in it. Said he'd never be able to play there again as it just wasnt safe for him or his family. If City do sell then I cant see a South American team being able to afford transfer fees or wages for him. A move to either Italy or Spain would be my bet on where he's heading.
