Haha serves liverpuddle right Gerrard took a fucking blatant dive before that non free kick they deserve nowt.

LOL Agger didn't even touch him mate, look at the replay, he dived, just as 5 others before him has this game, ruins it comepletely imo.

But yes, lead is deserved, Reds have had more than enough chances to go ahead, but lacking Torres to actually slotting em in will not win games :(

Edit: If you wanna talk penalty, Howard could have easily given Gerrard the penalty at 77min, Diaby comes in from the side and yanks his shirt and blocks his way, wouldn't have been a goal tho I reckon but more of a penalty than the Bendtner vs Agger situation!!

there was contact but he dived before there was contact imo if he had tried to go on he would have got kicked and got a penalty yellow card was right like Rooney vs us he dived long before contact.

It's freidel that has cost us the points today, we looked immense in the second half, great keeping to stop us scoring.

edit:// SAHA you beauty! 2-1 to everton!!!

Freidel has indeed been immense........ again. Gah!

But, with Nani on the pitch we would had an extra man in key positions that could have carved out more chances, especially at the end of the match where we are outstanding this season in digging out the results. But tonight we had nothing in the last 10minutes or so due to needing to remove the Rooney factor :(

And... come on Everton!
Donovon has certainly turned this Everton team around the corner again

Donovon looks more and more like a player that should stay in the premier league, what a waste in major league soccer.

Well mate, check out Fabregas being a c*nt in the end of the game, whether the free kick was there or not is not the issue, he got a booking which was right on, and then a hand ball, what was his hand doing up there anyways??

Regarding the Agger vs Bendtner issue, yes he dived before there was contact, so instead of being a baby, he should have kept going, and earned the penalty, instead of diving to get one :) On that we can agree I hope ;)

I agree with the dive.

Cesc was not a penalty he has every right to defend his hair!

fair play to everton, might be a persistant fouling bunch of scouser ***** but they work hard, annoying how saha seems to constantly get it on a plate against us tho.

now lets watch manutd go there next week and everton lay down and die against them, probably scoring a few own goals.

that dive by gerrard was a disgrace (might aswell copy that so i can paste it every week, he dives so fucking frequently)

Fucking class player that OG, does nothing for large periods of the game, but always there when we need him. I'm tempted to buy a shirt with his name on it ;p

Shouldn't of let Everton get 2 goals up on us, while we can score more towards the end of a game it doesn't mean you always will.

Turamber: Nothing personal, but I hope you return from today's game in a miserable, foul mood :D

Well I didn't, just bloody cold and slightly disappointed. As happens so often when its up to us to boss the game we're unable to do so -- movement was diabolical, you'd have thought United had the extra man.

Downing, apart from his cross for the goal, did nothing (again), Sidwell did nothing (again) and Carew was hopeless (again). Still one point gained is a good result on the night.

It might sound daft but I think we'd have done better if Nani had stayed on the pitch. Our gameplan to play on the break was working well up till then. But he had to go, was a truly bad tackle.

Even if there was contact, the contact was outside the box?

The Everton V Chelsea game was just brilliant. End to end stuff with Chelsea counter attacking at a frightening speed and Everton throwing everything at them to stop them. There really is no better sight in football than Leon Osman and Timmy Cahill flying round like pesky flies making expensive egotistical mercenaries flail their arms about in disgust at the referee. It was brilliant watching the reactions of players like Zhirkov and Malouda when Everton were impeding them on their off the ball runs.

What I just don't get is what Everton did today that they didn't at the weekend. Everton could have scored 5 or 6 tonight and made chances with almost every spell of possession they had. Against Liverpool they only created one chance in the whole game. Tonight there was zero fear, Cahill was playing up front for most of it and the likes of Donovan, Osman, Arteta and Baines were flooding forward.

Tonight should, if the press were watching, throw a massive question mark over the head of John Terry. He was abused by King Louis tonight, he couldn't get near him. If Saha can control and manipulate him with that much ease, what will they do to him in the world cup? What would we do if the fancy dan foreigners discovered how ineffective Terry is with dealing with long diagonal balls?

Sorry cant really say i wrote it off as a dive as soon as he started to go down then the commentators slow moed the contact so i did nt really see where it was. Like i said i think he lost the "potential" penalty by diving.

That Twitter Bent vs Shields thing is hilarious.

Did a bit of checking up, and apparently it all started due to the beachball event which allowed Bent to score for Sunderland and beat Liverpool.

After a bit of back and forth of twitter, its reported Bent said

Shields, having set up his Twitter account, has twisted about that comment and called DB allsorts, to which DB appears to have replied on Shields' twitter page: "At least my arse doesn't resemble a windsock."

:D
