But if you go on Cescs word he will not be leaving and why would he? He is a massive star at Arsenal he is the captain and first name on the team sheet. At Barce he would either be a sub or played out of possession. He will end up there i just dont think yet.

Ok, I don't say this to offend but I think I am being realistic. Unless Arsenal start to invest heavily they will not be able to compete with Chelsea and City in the next few years, it pains me to say that because we cannot compete on transfers with all this debt either. With an aging team this will probably be our last good shout for the league for the next two years, for Arsenal this was probably your best chance and I think Arsene has really fucked up by not strengthening in the window.

Now from Cesc's point of view I can see why he would consider leaving, he must look at Steven Gerrard and a see a guy pushing 30 with 0 league titles to his name. They too missed a great chance to win the league last season and have now fallen away, Cesc can see the same happening to his career if Arsenal do not start competing for the better players and what makes it worse is that he knows the money is there to spend.

I heard he was a bit of a leftsided Kuyt or a striker. Sounds good! Don't know a lot about him tho. Apparently a late bloomer with a lot of stamina and is a workhorse, when he is happy. Grumpy when played out of position in Standard. Hopefully good!

With cesc, both barca and fabregas have denied any contract, but the Barca president really wants him before he has to step down.

As if he does that we cant afford to not qualify cl with out losing money. It would also destroy our wage structure.

I've seen him play alot in the belgian competition.. He's indeed a left footed striker who can play on the attacking left midfield. he has some great moves and a nose for goals but I'm not sure if he can handle the premier league level. He's really funny towards the media and has a really nice spirit.
