I'm no Everton fan but having read this article I'm seething. The player is under contract, City didn't even show their interest until three weeks before the close of the transfer window.

Moyes has been unable to get any bugger to sign for his team anyway, how in God's name is he supposed to find a replacement at such short notice?

There is definitely a sellers market for centre backs in the Premier League. Any Villa fans who thought Davies and Cuellar were our dream ticket this season would have had that notion dispelled.
