Man Utd played pretty shit, but Burnley got an early goal and stuck all their men behind the ball. Patterson was constantly hounding our defenders and Rooney cant shoot for shit at the moment.

Bastard Rovers up next for the lads, should beat them well at the SoL providing they dont do a Bolton and kick lumps out of every player with an ounce of skill

'Real Ronaldo' Is Better Than Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Juventus Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon - Goal.com

the article is not very interesting, however...

Buffon said:
The real Ronaldo has always been a champion for me.

I like how he's called "the real ronaldo" by everyone, and not just Luis Ronaldo or some shit. Especially when discussing with united fans.

Ah well, there's probably a young superstar called Park Ying-Yang in 20 years or so. I can imagine people talking about "the real Park" back in the day :D

I can understand why people use the term "the real Ronaldo" but let's not underestimate Cristiano Ronaldo's ability. He is only young, and even if he never gets as good as Luis Ronaldo he has come very close.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a player in his own right :).

Maybe in the sportsmanship department, I agree. However, Cristiano Ronaldo is in the same league, ability-wise, as Luis Ronaldo. That is my opinion. Luis Ronaldo may be higher up the league, but they are not that far apart.

Having a horrible season so far, hopefully we can at least show some bottle against Liverpool on Monday. According to some Blackburn forums Villa have supposedly agreed a fee to sign Stephen Warnock. Good news if true, but we only have one fit centre back for the Liverpool game *gulp*

Anyone watching Soccer AM today? They got Bradley Wright Phillips on, he's quite funny, very Ian Wright style in his comments.

Absolutely horrific, I've not heard much news today but I did read that on BBC news earlier. Poor fella.

If he was targetted directly, what would the chances of it being a drug deal gone wrong? You don't usually hear of things like that unless its retaliation for something.

Of course, involving other family members is horrible irregardless, but it will be interesting to see what happens - Considering i think someone/people have been arrested in relations to it.

Arsenal are crazy now, no wonder Everton wasnt totally prepared last week for the goals they're banging in, almost seems like the Arsenal of old where they just score fluently. Next week should be interesting now Utd have found their feet as well, but i think Arsenal might actually win...

With both of us seemingly hitting form it could be a classic game.

Looking forward to the Utd game next week. Amazing the difference loosing ade has made. Bendtner seems to be relishing his role on the right up front. He has really impressed and the link play between him, Ed and VP has been great.

Midfield looks good with plenty of options. Fab seems to have plenty of room to get forward. Ramsey looks like a good slot in should he be injured. Denilson seems to improve every game.

In Defence Vermaelen has been a good addition and Galas seems to be enjoying the partnership.

I'll admit I was worried before the start of the season about our strength in depth an obvious concern given last season. But Wenger knows best and first two games of this campaign justify his unwillingless to spend 'uneccessary' money.

I'm taking nothing for granted but 12 goals in 3 games with our main striker yet to get going is promising. I hope Cesc coming off injured was a precaution and he will be fit for United. If not maybe Diaby Denilson and Song in the middle.

I will be much happier if Vidic gets a nice ban for punching that guy in the face which he did on purpose and misses the game ;)

Wont happen if they play like they did against man city all season, shoulve lost about 3-0+. also unlucky to hit the bar later on but still need a bit better defending i think :)

Just six days ahead of the start of a new season, no British broadcaster has secured the rights to screen Spanish football. BSkyB's deal to show La Liga expired in the summer and the satellite giant is reluctant to meet the £15m-a-season asking price. (The Sunday Times)

^ :( No Spanish League this season.

£15 mil a season is that not shockingly low i though sky paid each team more than that. I know they would pay more for English football but the gulf seems huge.
