Howard Webb is officiating the Champions League final.

I don't really get it. The past season he's been very poor, prior to that i'd have said he was the best English Ref. Do refereeing bodies just ignore recent form?

Chelsea did it twice and Inter once in the past few years with Sky's Football Icon program. It's just raising the profile of the club, engaging youngsters and possibly finding a gem of a player in the process.

Nowt wrong with that.

That said, if there's a way to fuck things up atm you can be sure Liverpool will find it. :p

Howard Webb in charge of champions league.

I guess that means that we gonna have 84 penalties that are perfectly fine tackles. We gonna have at least 1 wrongful dismissal (Robben please! :p ), and lots of other fun antics

How underwhelming is that transfer though? Not talked to one Arse fan who has had anything to say about it but "meh".

Im the same. Vela and Eduardo both underperformed this season. So a proven European striker as backup for free could be good. We could have done with him last season when RVP and NB were out so i can see why we signed him but "meh" lol

Although his goal record is nothing special he is a decent player, Wenger will get the best out of him just wait and see, He's very good in the air.

Yeah I have a feeling the lad will do well, don't know why but it's Wenger, he keeps managing to pull it off. Pretty good at finding players too... :D :p ;)

God I hope Rooney can perform at his best next month, an exciting run is exactly what this country needs at the moment.

only caught the last 15mins of first half, but seems the championship playoff is a good game.. 2-2 at the moment. Cardiff look to be getting hammered at the back but good counter attacking play from them.

edit:

3-2 at half time, with a goal rightfully disallowed which would made it 3-3. Damn this should be a good 2nd half :D

This game is a cracking match. Two sides attacking without any thoughts for defending. Blackpool have been the better side for me so far, even though they have been a goal behind twice

Blackpool appears to have 2 centre backs that think they are centre forwards. They seem to be constantly up on the edge of the Cardiff box. lol.
The 3rd goal was hilarious, campbell slipped over as went to shoot, and the studs clipped the ball and made a perfect pass to the wide man to smash in. lol.

"Feliz cumpleaños jodido chico blanco / blanquito"

whiteboy as in slang when black ppl call each other negro or niggah? If so, then "blanquito" or chico blanco (white boy)

If they're from south america you can replace blanquito for panchito.

I don't care much for this ballfoot malarky but I live about 8 miles away from the blackpool ground :d

Might have to go to a few games next season.

Delighted for Blackpool, the money from at least one season in the Premier League will transform them back into the great local club they used to be. Invest in the ground and facilities, then bounce back on the parachute payments. :)
