Carragher had a shocking season, gets called out of retirement. Zamora has the season of his life, not even in the final 30. Fucking farce.

Reputation proceeds all. Simply put Capello bottled it on several calls, not happy.

Zamora should have been there, Neville was a better shout than carragher if Capello really wanted an ageing defender.

Carragher and Walcott, Heskey and King will all be dropped in the cut IMO.

Feel really sorry for Zamora, form of his life, terrorised some of the best defences in Europe and doesn't even make the provisional squad.

Capello said he would pick on form, so Walcott, wright phillips, defoe and lennon should not really be there.

I'd put money on Carragher making the final squad. Capello's not going to bother bringing him out of retirement for a "maybe" and Carra's not going to bother unless he's been told "you're there"...

Good decision IMHO. He's a better defender than Dawson (who's great with greatness beside him) and he has extensive experience of football at the highest level.

Yeah until Cal pointed it out, I did not even realise A Young had not made it. At least he has been playing the last few months, unlike walcott and lennon.

As for Agbonlahor, I never though he would make it. Crouch and Bent deserve to be there, you could argue that gabby could go instead of defoe maybe.
