Even at 3 years old he has better close control than most adult premiership footballers and this is what pisses me off about premierleague academies, they coach every last bit of ability out of you. Break you down and then remold you into what the premiership is about, guile and strength. Then people wonder why as a nation, England fail spectacularly.

I wouldn't be unhappy if that were the case :p

If Essien can stay fit then partner him with Lamps in the middle with Mikel (and maybe Mancienne, who seems to be getting rave reviews playing as the holding mid at Wolves)

Yep, LOL, lots of chelski scum at my gym and they all want Ballack gone.

Sol's face is classic in that pic.

Xavi last night, was quite simply, a joy to watch.

Pedro's goal was a cracker!

Just seen the Danny Rose goal. Cracking goal, but Essiens was better.

It was an excellent hit, but I think Almunia could have done better. I think it was the shock of it coming back more than the quality of the strike, which was at a good height for the keeper and bang in the middle of the goal. Can you imagine that ball getting past Given or VDS?

Still, goal against Arsenal on your league debut for Spurs with your first serious touch of the ball? That kid's not going to have to buy a meal or drink for a while, methinks :)

Past given lol are you kiding me? Given would not have even made the punch, Given is a good shot stopper but he has no control over the box at all, and he never has. It was a good punch and he got caught out by a lucky strike, shit happens sometimes, Arsenal still did enough on the day but came away with nothing, now if only Spurs can repeat the performance against the blue at the weekend!!!!

Hopefully Spurs will be shattered for our game, 2 hours of an FA cup semi final and their biggest derby within 3 days of each other, then another massive game 3 day after that :D

dont worry, you can lose the game. Afteral utd will probably drop points to city at the weekend. City will batter rooney's ankle so he has to go off then tevez will rule the day judging by the way things been going.

In the chelsea game, john terry will catch the ball on the line, run down the field bouncing it like a basketball and throw it in the net. The goal will be given with the ref going "It was off his chest" :p

So anyone read about the Calciopoli scandal? Loads of evidence has come to light. 11 of the 20 clubs of that season are involved, previously they only had evidence of five clubs talking to the referee designator.

There are loads of transcripts of conversations between various officials floating about, quite interesting :p

If there is any justice in Italy then Inter will be in serious shit, dont count on it though ;)

They always seem to include something retarded in the PFA awards. Two 24 year olds in the young player of the year? Rooney will be 25 this year.

Rooney will win the main award because he's English but he doesnt deserve it anymore than the others.

I don't think players should be nominated in both categories either.

Plenty of youngsters (proper youngsters) that could have been nominated instead.

Well last year proved what a farce the award is anyway, it doesn't really have any value now.

Wouldn't be suprised if Rooney won the main award and Fabregas got young player, despite that making no sense.

Well it's voted for by players, so you can't really call it a farce. It's their vote and they can use it how they wish. There should be a cut off of 22 for a young player though.

and boyata(man city), alderweireld,(ajax) vertongen(ajax) ,hazard (lille) dembele(az, probably to juventus),vermaelen(arsenal), de laet(man utd), buyten(bayern).. most of them are pretty young also.

Ok i understand that when you get 600 000 or 6-10mil that you choose the latter but he's fucking 62, rich as a king and said the last 6months that he won't leave.. pissed off.

But players are pretty stupid and vote like sheep. The voting is done before the season even finishes so it's definately a farce.

Liverpool fans will be happy, Hicks and Gillet have declared their intention to sell the club, not look for fresh investment.

Wenger on Cesc to Spain said:
"I can't see anybody with a competitive edge wanting to go to Spain," said Wenger. "They have two good teams and the number three is 27 points behind.

"Next weekend the players threatened to strike because they are not paid. It is a league in complete disarray."

If Cesc were not a Barce fan i would say he has a point.

If city beat united tommorow and win their game in hand they only 3 points behind arsenal with them still to play and 5 behind united. If united slip up more and city beat arsenal this could end up very interesting lol
