Finally, that's 6pts we might actually win next season.

Also, get off our fucking pitch, bunch of fucking hooligans!

lol did u go to the game or just hear it on the radio?

on the radio heard the security announce over the tanoy "the stevenage players will greet the fans at the bottom end of the pitch DO NOT ENTER THE PLAYING FIELD"

.... lets be honest only 1 thing was gonna happen after that

Nah, I couldn't be bothered to drive home to watch an inevitable defeat - I saw them destroying our nice pitch on soccer saturday

Well that'll be that then, we haven't deserved anything in the first 45.

Typical Chelsea disinterest so far sadly, a common thing that hits Chelsea every time they get in the lead.

Great first half for utd there. Spurs really doing the business. ONly half watching it with great foriegn commentary (cant be arsed to get round restrictions that tiscali have in place for decent english streams)

Bad side, we got to play this inform spurs side next week, and the only team i can see taking points of chelsea are Liverpool. With 4th place out the question by then, and nothing to really play for then I can see the players "throwing" the Chelsea game in blatent disregard to "fair play". THey do anything to delay us passing them in titles.

That said, if pompy win their appeal then Liverpool may need to get the result just to get in the european mickey mouse competition. And the owners will want that else the club value declines at a time they trying to sell (ontop of decline from not being a CL team).

With all this said, Chelsea are capable of turning this game around in the 2nd half. See if the manager can earn his money this week

They are capable but I'm not sure they will, the other issue is that our last couple of games haven't been that stunning either.

Wolves didnt do that to change the title race though, they done that to improve THEIR chances of survival. They knew the players would be in a more fatigued state if they played in that match, for a game at 100% they believe they could (and did) win.

Liverpool would not be doing it for improving their own season, they would be doing it to the detriment of the league and to delay the inevitable. There is no footballing reasons behind Liverpool if they throw the game, Wolves had a Footballing reason to do it (make sure fit for important game)

And what if Liverpool want to keep Stevie G and Torres fit for (should they reach it) the Europa League final?

Could be a problem with drogba and they cant change the half time subs (before kick off).
Understandable as players are on the pitch already so subs have been officially made. But wonder if it serious problem with drogba that playing will make worse.

2nd half could be interesting if it muscular

And what if Liverpool want to keep Stevie G and Torres fit for (should they reach it) the Europa League final?

torres even fit?
was meant to fly for more tests but of course isnt allowed. As such dont know if he be playing anytime soon.

As for the europa final. That would mean they would rest him for 2 matches from the league, wouldnt expect to see him play in the last match of season either :D

From the second angle it did look like terry got the ball. First time i saw it it looked like a certain yellow card tho.

Terry has only 3 types of tackle...wonderful, silly and utterly stupid but sadly he seems to do the later two since he dipped his wick.

Blimey, a real letoff today, didn't expect to close the gap to 1 point again. Looking at the games still to play it could actually happen for us but Liverpool still need to have a chance at 4th and I just don't see them making it so I can see them rolling over just to spite us. :p

Chelsea have been woeful today. But fair play to Spurs, they've picked themselves up from the FA semi defeat brilliantly. I thought our chance for top four had gone with the Everton result, and it seems pretty clear that its gone now.

Still, it has been a good season and I'll be chuffed if we can finish the season ahead of Rafa and his boys.

It's a shame Drogba was able to carry on because he was fucking awful. Worst individual performance ive ever seen, although Terry did give him a run for his money.

We started and played exactly how i hoped we wouldnt :/

good to see certain Utd fans return to the thread when they start doing well

Oh when the Spurs, go marching in, oh when the Spurs go marching in!

Fantastic last few days, if you'd have offered me 6 pts from these two games last Sunday evening I'd have bitten your arm off!

Sadly our allocation for Old Trafford next week has all gone (never had the chance to go there in the league, tickets always sell out) but Man City away tickets have gone on general sale, need to make sure I buy one on Monday :D

lose to pompy, beat chelsea. it is priceless :D

man utd had a bad 10days or so, was real disappointment. But we back in with an outside chance. We just got to do our side of things and win games. Problem is our finishing at the moment is woeful. Lots of possession but doing very little with it. Hopefully we improve for the last few games.
