Another poor Galatico's eras for Real, fucking priceless. Whoever gets Higuain is in for a bargain.

Vas, he's young in a club where the fans/board/staff turn on a match, thats barrels of pressure.

Problem with Higuain will be wages if he is on £60-£80k out there and wants to take home the same here that means only 5 clubs can really go for him.

Well, maybe you are right n its just a matter of age (not for Rooney or Messi tho), but thats a trait of his game that he must fix, or he will never be the franchise player of a top tier club.

Could also be that no matter how good he does do, hes not a big name thus the fans don't want him, that weighs on his mind?

Not like Rooney/Messi, seems like he has got to justify his selection even though hes played brilliant tbh.

Only when he's looking in the mirror at himself. He was coming on as a sub at the weekend and he spent about 6 minutes matching up his socks and sleeves.

Personally I thought he was RMs best player :p

Most people see him as a worldclass player tbh. He can be extremely good. Yes he's a pop idol but seriously one of the most underestimated players from real last 5years.

Just need an Arsenal win tomorrow night now to push Man Utd down to 3rd and make the last 3 games of the season very very interesting.

haha i am sure that the Barce staff tell the players what to say too many of them have said "Cesc has a place for Arsenal in his heart but he has Barcelona in his blood," I wonder if helping to tap up players is in the contracts :)

Why is it always a disgrace when chelsea benfit? Didnt see people saying it was a disgrace that vidic didnt get sent off in carling cup final or that chelsea didnt get penalty vs inter milan. ALL clubs benefit at times from the ref its just soem cfans are hypocrits.

Totally agree, they call it rub of the green and Chelsea got some last night, the same as United have had on many occasions. Some days it goes your way and some days it goes against you.

Move on, nothing to see here.

Agreed, i fully admit we got very lucky, same as terry should have ahd a red vs villa. But he didnt and we we got lucky , cant change it now so have to just accept and move on. Same as when we lost to barc in CL. No ammount of whining changes fact we lost.

My point is it's happening far to often now as we get to the business end of the season. Yet the officials don't get punished for it.

I also never said it was a disgrace because chelsea benefitted, I said the decisions not being given were the disgrace, which you cannot disagree with.

utd v chelsea two more blatant pens were missed, just because it apparantly evens itself out, does not mean the officials should be able to pick and choose when they want to give a decision.

JT should have been sent off for his foul on James Milner in the semi final, because it was as bad a tackle as has been made all season, yet Henry got sent off for nothing against Arsenal.

It's getting beyond a jkoe now and the FA really need to sort their shit out. I laughed when they introduced the extra officials in the europa league, but having watched it I actually thinks it's working quite well.

I'd be happier if the officiating was fair for everyone because we've had more than our fair share of shit go against us.

Unfortunately all you can hope is that it evens out in the long run.

edit: the extra officials in the europa league have already missed incidents in the penalty box, proving they're not worth it. We'll just have to wait a few years until we finally get technology.

That's the thing everyone should be treated the same, but it's clearly not the case.

Can't remember who it was, but the sky analysis of the utd v chelski match. One pundit made an excellent point. Refs should treat each incident on it's own merits, and not think of previous matches, reputations or incidents. Refs would get respect then.

They'll still make mistaks, their job is too hard.

But I know what you mean. After Barcelona had Abidal wrongly sent off against us (he should have been sent off earlier tbh) it just seemed like the referee wasn't going to give us anything else because of that. That same sort of shit happens all the time.

ref's will never get respect until they are forced to hold press confrences in which they explain decisions.

If this happens then decisions will be a lot more open as the refs are accountable for their actions. They miss things often and use the "i didnt see that". "I wasnt in a position to see that" etc then the FA will be able to see that the ref doing something wrong if missing incidents like that, and because it public knowledge and not behind FA doors then action will have to be taken against constant poor decisions

They'll still make mistaks, their job is too hard.

They are professions referee's, it their main job and as such they need to be made accountable. Saying the job is too hard is not an excuse. I bet if you make 10 mistakes in 90minutes at your job then your Boss will call you up on it, do this often then you will be fired. This never happens to referee's, especially the likes of Howard Webb, because as the "world cup" referee the FA dont want to look bad.

Wonder if in the world cup we can get our referee to book someone 4 times before sending them off, the level of performances this season by the referees in the english premier league it really wouldnt surprise me.

I agree it was a harsh red but going studs first and leaving him needing stitches was not nothing :)

I think referee's would be under intense pressure if they had to hold a conference after every game. Although i do agree they need to be held accountable, some of the stuff they do is retarded and needs an explanation.

I still think the job is too hard, you can't expect them to see every incident because to be able to they'd need to be able to fly really fast and have x-ray, slow-motion vision.

Managers have to hold a press conference before and after every game, why should it be any different for referees? Managers are held accountable for their actions, why should it be different for referees.

4 officials, i think that all them together should be able to cope with the press conference.

Hard job or not. They have chosen to do it and so should make sure they do a good job. If they dont like the idea of having to explain their actions then they can simply quit being a referee and let someone that wants to do a good job take their place.

Copenhagen one up against Esbjerg and OB losing again basically puts us up 9pts meaning we'll win our league and be ready for CL next year

Be afraid Europe, be very afraid

Also in b4 Villa lose 3-0 but were clearly 'robbed'
