Ronbaldo and Higuan are really off-form tonight, chances they would normally convert easily are going wrong. Barca could be given the title on a plate if Real don't sort it out at half time.

Not really, they're totally inconsistent this season, beating Barcelona one week then losing to Almeria the next.

Edit: haha 3-2 now

But still, hes no better than Wayne Rooney

Oh look, Marc being is usual Messi humping self and miss interpreting everything again. Rooney a better rounded player - Messi a better attacking player.

Good to see that the Argentine's agree with me that Messi isnt any good for his nation.

And Messi seemed non-existant at the <most of> weekend from what I watched, if he was as godly as you like to make out can you explain that? :p

I was expecting Chodax to launch into a foul mouthed tirade when I mentioned the goldenboy rooney so im surprised you took the bait :(

Anyway, the best player in the world by a country mile is saving himself for wednesday when Pep will unleash him on the best league in the world (sic)

They were very unlucky, could have been a goal up after 2minutes but the 20-25yrd shot came back off the post. If that had gone in I think they would have won, or at least got a draw.

Barcelona's goal was rather lucky tbh, but hey every now and then even a team of their standard needs some luck.

It was more /facepalm for them resting major players for the team with the 3rd best home form in La Liga.

oO Ribery is a definate no now?
That is a shame from the game point of view. Still wont be an easy game as they capable of shutting out the united attack and taking a 0-0 to Old trafford. If they do that they only need to grab the single away goal and we could have problems.

With luck we can get a couple of away goals and keep a clean sheet now.

Strange, checked there website when i read what you said and there is nothing on there in relation to it. Wonder if it is breaking news, alternatively it could be Munich playing a Fergi trick of saying someone isnt available (or is) and the opposite is true.

Hell fergi done it just this weekend "Rooney will definately be available" and shock horror, he wasnt there at all :D

Unless I misheard it, i was walking through the room at the time.

Although Ribery has been injured and seriously out of form

Arsene stating that Cesc is a doubt for the Barcelona game... that would be another shame from a football fans point of view :(

There is something about "2 training problems for Munich", waiting on it coming around to that.

edit:
Ribery is training, but may not be fully fit.
Robben isnt training, but may be available.
The Mask: Demichelle's? (the defender with the broken cheak or whatever) should play.
..
All in all they looking like they could have everyone available. Wouldnt be surprised to see Ribery at least on the bench, and Robben likely on the bench "just in case". Though robben the least likely to be there imo.

It's only Robben that is a doubt, Ribery should be playing.

Wenger added that Cesc Fabregas and Abou Diaby are both fitness doubts for Wednesday.

This is concerning as with Gallas still out we either play Sol again or Silvestre. The other option is Song dropping back but i think we need him in a spoiling role to have a chance. Denilson is to hit and miss for that job.
