Yup, agree with you Corran. Fulham are also capable of causing a mixup!

Spurs seem to have hit a run of form as well, don't they have to play Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea before the end of the season?

yeah tough run in.

03 Sat Away Sunderland Barclays Premier League 15:00
11 Sun Wembley Portsmouth FA Cup 16:00
14 Wed Home Arsenal Barclays Premier League 20:00
17 Sat Home Chelsea Barclays Premier League 17:30
24 Sat Away Man Utd Barclays Premier League 12:45
May 2010 H A RELATED
01 Sat Home Bolton Barclays Premier League 15:00
05 Wed Away Man City Barclays Premier League 20:00
09 Sun Away Burnley Barclays Premier League 15:00

would be quite ironic for them to lose to Arsenal and beat Chelsea and Man Utd and help Arsenal win the title. Bittersweet victories for Spurs fans then haha

It's karma though, Olson was not offside for his goal minutes before the penalty decision. So Blackburn deserved to be 1-0 up.

Don't disagree, but it was a schoking decision.

They showed a replay from the refs view point and it looked more like a penalty. It was the beats own fault, bad bad goalkeeping.

was a solid 4-1 victory to southampton.. pretty good victory when compare it ot the normal boring cup final scorelines.

Credit to them as they won no trophy in something like 80yrs.

.
No iniesta.. big blow to barcelona. But, if they hit fabregas hard in a single tackle focused towards his knee I think you find he will disappear from the game. Good thing that Barcelona arent that sort of side (and wont want to purposely upset the guy as they want him back).

News from the club is Cesc will be facing a late fitness test after getting knee tackled which leaves us with a few problems. Its funny but i do wonder now people have seen that if he will get a few more of them tackles this season.

Liverpool look like they will end up drawing or loosing this..... so many chances to score since the opening goal, all wasted. Can see sunderland getting a late goal.

edit:// spoke to soon.

I read earlier that iniesta and xavi are potentially out of the CL first leg, bad news for Barca that if it's true.

Oh ello J Man, have liverpool won a game? :p

Must have, else he wouldnt pop up in this thread. lol.

Couldnt be bothered to watch the liverpool game, but saw the cheaky flick by Torres to score. Awful defending but such calm football by Torres. He has amazing abilities that are just wasted in the team currently.

Torres says that Liverpool need 3 or 4 players that are better then anyone at Liverpool currently. It seems that he is in dream land because no way have Liverpool got in excess of 80m to purchase these players.

I really cant believe how poor liverpool have been. When you consider how badly affected the other top 3 teams have been with injuries in key positions (seen by so many loses for them), Liverpool wont have a better chance to come top.
Sure they had some injuries, but no where near the degree of the Top 3, and it shows how overly reliant they are on a few players.

If it wasnt for Spurs very tough run in to the end of the season I would say Liverpool got no chance of champions league next season. But unfortunately they do still have a chance.

Interested on what affect missing out on the CL money would do for Liverpool

That isnt their biggest concern. Their biggest concern is that their talisman and leader, Steven Gerrard is approaching 30 and will soon be the wrong side of his peak. In 2 season time, chances are he wont be anywhere near the player he was. What do liverpool do without him? No other club is as reliant on one player as liverpool are. Not just on the pitch but off it.

To be honest, now days I would say Torres is the important one. They got enough central midfielders to cope without Gerrard IF they have Torres fit and in form.

Gerrard should have left liverpool by now, can see him possibly heading to spain/italy if one the trophy teams come in for him because he really should have more winner medals for his ability
