ESPN just said 1 game automatic but the FA can increase to 3 but no way should they.

Marc something I've meant to ask do you think Vidic is headed for Real this summer? If so do you think it would be a good buy for them?

I think one of the reasons that he has been so good for united is becuase so many of the smaller teams try the long ball tactic against them and he is great at cutting out balls in the air. In contrast then against a smaller faster player like torres he has problems. I think in the spanish leauge he would ahve to cope with alot more through balls and such and I dont think he would be as effective. Anyone else think this?

was always gonna do well over there... the small teams dont realise they cant compete with the top teams and this makes it easy for good players to rip them apart.

Its a funny one this. My personal take on it from what ive heard is that he is keen on joining real madrid, but they dont want him because they already have Albiol, Pepe, Sergio Ramos and Garay and Vidic has such, dismissed reports that he wants to leave old trafford as untrue. So i dont think he will leave unless Real Madrid renew their interest. AC Milan also want him, but can they afford him and would he want to go there? I doubt it.

Vidic is a fantastic defender but has one serious flaw. As you said, against pacy strikers he can become unstuck. That said, there arent many complete defenders around these days, not in the same mold as people like maldini and Nesta, so i think he would be great in La Liga.
