Gosh that was a frustrating game. Wolves worked hard but had very little quality. Villa looked dangerous going forward but were shocking at the back, a real horror show. At one stage we were losing 2-1 to a team that had only one shot on target.

A hardworked and well earned point, but could have done with three. It was all my fault though, I used up all of the luck in Birmingham by chatting up a sexy hostess in the centenary lounge and getting her phone number.

Moyes is a class manager, but the one aspect he really needs to work on is getting Everton out of the blocks at the start of the season. Must be 2-3 years in a row now where you've had truly awful starts, only to end up with a near miss come the end of the season after a great post-christmas run.
