So you would prefer the glaziers and all the way they wrecking your club to roman because he got in a player that the manager didnt like and ended up playing poor. Roman may be arrogant but he supports the club, the glaziers may take a back seat but they let the club suppot them. You sold one of your best players for a record ammount of money and havent seen any return yet. While at the same time the glaziers dip their greedy little fingers into your money pot as and when. Where as Roman has written off chelseas debts to him. Mourinho was great but he was always doomed to clash with any other alpha male. I can 100% bet that he would have walked away from nited after not getting funds from ronaldo sale and from liverpool for their finacial fiasco and from arsenal because of the way they prefer to not spend and instead cultivate young talent. Mourinho will only stay where he thinks he has complete control and their is a challenge.

Glaziers are bad for the club financially, but they do leave Fergi to run the club how he wants too... the glaziers had nothing to do with Ronaldo being sold, hell they could have sold him the year before but Fergi made a point, said no and kept him a season. He had no chance of keeping him longer and keeping the player happy so he had to go for the good of the team.

Have we seen any return on the sale? No. But why do we need to see anything from that money when the Squad is absolutely solid as is. Sure we could do with another Striker... BUT ... that is because Berbatov is ineffective 80% of the time and our youth players are injured (Macheda) or on loan to Fergi's son (Welbeck).

In the summer there was absolutely no value in the market. All prices got inflated and so why spend the money. Only 2 players could replace Ronaldo, with both being unavailable. Messi would never leave Barcelona, and Ribery was not for sale even it £55m.

For me the reason united have managed to maintain their efficiency is fact you have by far the best manager in the world. He will stand up to the gaziers and anyone else. The glaziers must surely know they can interfer with him at this age when any altercation could make him retire prematurely. But what happens after he is gone ? Thats imo when we will see how bad the glaziers are or ofc are not.

One of the theme days at the Emirates is fans day where everyone gets flags a free programme and some other gear.

How good is it going to be, watching Puyol Lift the champions league trophy at the Bernabeau rofl. Will it ever get any sweeter than that?

Cesc lifting it then kissing his Arsenal badge would work for me.

United fans have no reason at all to be worried. Should the Glazers decide tomorrow, to sell the club there would be no end of suitors as Manchester United is the number 1 sports brand in the world, even ahead of the Dallas Cowboys. If Roman decided to give up, there wouldnt be anywhere near the same amount of interest and I very much doubt Roman would get anywhere near his level of investment back and nor would chelsea get the investment that United have. Contrary to popular belief, Abramovich didnt write these loans off at all. What he did, is what most businesses do when they are struggling and that is to convert them into equity, so rather than Chelsea owing him £700m, he now has £700m worth of shares. Its still the same investment as far as he is concerned. He still has £700m of his own money tied up in chelsea.

Put it this way, from a financial point of view, id rather be a united fan than a chelsea fan.

You seem to miss the one small vital part tho, the glaziers dont want to sell. They are happy to leech away. And im pretty sure all of the top four could find good buyers at the snap of a finger. Finacially united in a far far far worse position than chelsea, hence the green and gold? campaign. Remeber this is purely financial we are talking now.

glaziers put in about $800m to purchase the club, although mostly financed against the club of course.

the Red Knights have pledges totallying about $1.5billion, even if they only get 2/3rds of that then it be a $200m profit if Glaziers accept the offer.

There one thing saying that you are not selling, but when a good offer comes in they will think about it because other parts of their business arent doing too well and the money would be a big help for them.

Lol at the Abramovic struggling comment. Last year during the peak of the recession he made more money in 6 months than the entire amount he spent on Chelsea. Poor guy :(

How exactly are they leaching? They are the directors and are therefore entitled to a wage from the company. They are also shareholders and are entitled to dividends.

Im sure the top 4 could find buyers at the snap of a finger, but that doesnt mean to say they would find a buyer willing to pump money in aswell, especially during this economic climate.

What about the green & gold campaign? Its started by a load of armchair accountants who wouldnt know a balance sheet if it hit them in the face and think they know best how to run man united. Take the red knights LOL. Yeah, 20 or so plus owners, trying to run the club. Thats gonna work sure. It would cause more problems than the Glazers ever could.

To much is being made about the Glazers letting Man United borrow the money rather than themselves. If they had borrowed the money themselves, Man United would still be making a loss as they would have to pay themselves a wage to cover the personal interest payments. I suppose in an ideal world, Man United would have an owner like Abromavich,
