Young and J Cole on the left, with Downing as an option. Lennon on the right, with Wright Philipps his backup. Young and Lennon are proper wingers this season, and their crossing has been very good.

You don't need Heskey there, and Turamber please show me where the England players have publicly stated that they want to play with him over another player? Crouch, Zamora and Carlton Cole are all better options as a target man, IF we play with two strikers.

Very interesting post match interview from Mancini regarding Tevez. Apparently they don't know where in Argentina he is, and have requested he return, but he has told them no.

No quality of delivery there fella. Not one of them is a good crosser.

This season I feel both young and lennon have shown much more maturity and quality of delivery, if they have some form going into South Africa then I feel they would both start.

I hope players are picked on form and if both Lennon and Young are still showing the form then they should both start.

I like what I've seen of Carlton Cole this season, he's come on a lot from the player we had on loan from Chelsea for a season. Definitely a good option. But Crouch? Nooooooooo, please don't make me watch that human deformity :(

Zamora has banged a few goals in, yes, but I can't say I've been impressed with him whenever I've seen him. I also can't say I see him as a target man or leader of the line.

Very interesting post match interview from Mancini regarding Tevez. Apparently they don't know where in Argentina he is, and have requested he return, but he has told them no.

they know exactly where he is, at home and the hospital where his 10week premature baby was in intensive care up until very very recently (read the last day or two). If they cant contact him then it will be because he was inside the hospital!

If Manchester City had any real class they would not be demanding him to come home at all and tell him to take as long as he needs, even if he misses the end of the season. It a highly sensitive subject and they got to understand that Tevez has to put his family first.

Even if they say "take as long as you want, but we cant pay you for your leave anymore" then that would be good, but the way Man City are acting shows that they dont care for the players health/state of mind and that family doesnt matter.

Absolutely outrageous and Tevez will probably realise he made a mistake going for the money of City.

They have since given him indefinite leave, why could they simply not do that the first time round? Instead the waited for a negative reaction after Mancini's comments.

indeed, their *cough* Image *cough* has been harmed by the stupid words of the manager.... no doubt they try to argue the "he not native english" but there is no way to get away from what he said.

the best striker the world has seen, and the best player for me. A shame we won't see him in europe again.

The non-fat, non-goofy, non-transvestite midget shagging Ronaldo is already well on his way to beating your Ronaldo's best ever seasons total at Real Madrid, all that and he missed 2 full months with injury. Best ever Ronaldo? For the moment yes, in 2 years time not a chance. ;)

the real Ronaldo missed shitloads of matches due to injuries. Don't play that card here :)

if you want to talk statistics, then it's worth looking into that the real ronaldo scored 47 goals in 49 matches for barcelona, at the age of 19 or 20.

also (and don't take this seriously ;))

Jon Dahl Thomasson has scored 51 goals in 101 matches, while Rooney has scored 25 in 57 matches. Jon must be the best of the two.

He is competing with Bajrami tho, our only decent attacking fullback apart from Wendt :p I wish we had one on the other side as well, or at least one who knew how to defend!.

They can't be any worse than the English team you support. :p

Update for cHodAX: Sunday practice was cancelled due to 50cm snow ontop of the pitch. Hopefully it will be removed by Wednsday, keep your fingers crossed!

Not in his best seasons in Real Madrid he didn't, go check the stats. ;)

As for the rest of your post, time will prove me right, CR7 will be a legend in the game by the end of his third season at Real Madrid. By that I mean an all time legend as well, up there with the likes of Zidane, Maradona, Cruyff, Platini, Beckenbauer et al.

I did say barcelona. Of course you can compare it to his time in real madrid where he was very injury prone. He still managed to score loads of goals there.

but yes, time will tell. He's not near the real ronaldo for me :)

He had 2 great and I do mean GREAT seasons at Real Madrid, don't make excuses. :p

1st Season - 30 goals in 44 games

2nd Season - 31 goals in 48 games

You only have a boner for fatboy because he used to play for your club. ;) :D :p

I'm not - I just don't get why you don't compare it to his time in barcelona where he was at his best :p
