Nah, turn it back ON as it's more fun when people start shooting their own players for acting suspiciously and thinking they are spies.

My thoughts exactly - spies aren't very useful on a non FF server. When I'm an engineer I just shoot everyone who comes near my sentry - FF makes that less practical

Oh dear. First couple of days on this game was pretty good - most people enjoying it, getting to grips with everything, being pretty decent in general.

It's been out about a week and already the "l33t" people are coming along - with their "n00bs" and their "pwned" etc. Aggressive little shitbags who think smacktalk is tough and offensive rather than just tiresome. It's all downhill from here :\

So just to be sure, if I pre-order one of these orange boxes through steam. I won't get any discs or boxes. It's all download? Think I'll have to wait only on 512 so it'll take ages to download it all

Not as long as you might think!

It does download fairly quickly...and its better than having the box because you can always download it again and again without fear of losing the CD/DVD's!!

Was sure that even if I did loose the DVD's I could download it anyway Maybe I'm wrong there though. But a week of downloading what will probably be like 5gb+!(at release) I don't think I'll do it 512 is too slow for them massive files.

bear in mind, alot of it is already contained within the main files. TF2 isnt that big a download if you have HL2 installed already, due to shared files etc.

In an effort to make the server a little more special. This morning I have played with a stats proggy to generate the below.

Player Rankings


As i spend more time working on it, i'll add captures and other bits of information, currently it only tracks kills.

It updates once per hour.

Anyone know how to get the Icon/spray working?
I installed the game normally but when I want to use an image (with the right dimensions) I get an error I am missing some .dll.
