A guy crossrealms (witch is legal as long as you dont spy as far as I'm told) and ask for people to come fight him in bg0, pretty harmless in my honest opinion, gets suspended in 15 days and people stands on each others backs to tell him how dumb he is, okay, he insulted the GM, but he got angry and properly didn't think about it, agree tho, not smart...

U have been told a lie then.. and how would u ever be able to know if a crossrealmer is cheating or not.. u gain access to information u are not supposed to see no matter how u turn this around.. If any vital info is overheard, or if this info is being forwarded no one can ever say for sure.. But it's illegal and it's kind'a stupid imo..

Crossrealming should always be punished imo.

Iceforge, in this incident the CSR clearly have proof of the crime and acted from that. I dont know excactly how it was proved, but I could speculate something like "/y Im gonna get my friend XXX from alb/hib here to fight me, come all watch!" Not too hard to get repported, a CSR comes in and checks logs for names etc..
As it was his 2nd offence the punishment was more harsh than normal. Insulting the CSR big time in such a childish manner really didnt help him at all.. Imo he should be glad his ban didnt get pronlonged..

As for other spies such as Invisbul ( sp? ) did lately, GOA cant react to someone blabbing on irc. They need solid proof from within the game afaik. Not that Invisbul didnt deserve a ban, but there was sheare lack of evidence for GOA to react on. Dont think a flame/whine thread here on FH will be enough..

That guy has to go through many problems within the game and you talking like a **** to him doesn't surprise me why he banned you aswell the incident you were involved in, i mean he's probably talking to many many people everyday with issues, aswell as fixing ingame problems, helping with patches, translations, checking servers to see if they are functioning correctly, checking for hackers/cheats on servers and so on,(probably requiel may even post here)

Treat your gms as you would treat an adult and perhaps they will not be so harsh towards you, but cross-realming=ban so should irc relic raiding blabbing ***** be too.

I know why Invisibul didn't get a ban for it, but the community forgave him right away when he apologied and alot went frenzy on Plaeneklipper for still saying he deserved a punishment, look the "I'm Sorry" thread up in the RvR section and you'll understand what I mean....
