Star Trek - Enterprise

Any one else watching it, what did you reckon?

I found it a very good alternative from always going ahead and instead taking a look at the era before the original series.

seen the entire series on sky 1 and I thought it was a fairly good series, and should get even better with time

Yer I have liked it so far.

I've d/l the episodes of US TV and watched it on Sky1 and now CH4.

It keeps the Star Trek theme but still manages to reflect a time when things were less polished.

I like the temporal cold war idea as it keeps the series from having a set path of whats aready been defined by the other series's, there's still room for twists like the end of Season 1

ok, I like tits quite a lot more than the next person.. but that decontamination scene just gratuitous. Don't get me wrong, she's got smashing tits, and watching her fondle them brought me much joy...but for fucks sake, how are we meant to take this program seriously?

(plus, I thought this ep was fucking dull. and what's with the intro? cheesemuch?)

I couldn't be arsed to watch it on skyone... The only thing that draws me from the backroom(where me pc is), to the frontroom(which has cable), is anime... So i generally just keep C4 on the tele in here.

I watched the first 2 episodes, and thought it was allright. The intro music is all wrong. It's a good song, but it is just miles apart from old/new star trek, and ds9/voyager. If it's going to be a star trek series, it needs star trek music fs!

Secondly, the captain bloke sucks. Now he's really arrogant, and seems more like the "hero" in a semi-action flick, rather than the captain in a star trek series. The woman is nice... Infact, more than that, but a blatantly sexy woman, who acts sexy, is just not star trek.

This is a bit more nerdy than I'm comfortable with, but a while ago I found a Paramount alternate opening sequence for Enterprise which doesn't have that shitty song over it, and has a more classical Star Trek theme. Muchos better.

If you want to have a look do a Kazaa search for 'enterprise alternate opening' and you'll find it.

I like it, not to keen on the new doctor though, something is just wrong about that guy. The ship is also the coolest looking one they've ever had.

Watched it when first shown on sky.
After the decontamination scene switched over, nice but gratuitous, spoiled the proggy imo.

I quite liked the entire series when it was shown on Sky 1. As for T'pol I think she's average looking ... until I looked at that link provided by Embattle. She looks nice

Wasn't as good as Star Trek II:The Wrath of Khan. The only decent one cos Kirk gets to play with all of those really big guns on the front of the Enterprise. Much better than Picard baldly going where no man has gone before and poncing around kissing everyone's arse.

Enterprise has got a lot of promise.

I too have seen the entire first season on Sky 1 and enjoyed it loads.

T'Pol is actually not bad without the wig IRL.


On a similar vein - ST: Nemesis is out later this year and, from the trailer, looks kinda spiffing.
