The shaman shearing you down means that the rr2 random gimp over the hill might have a chance

It's annoying as hell (especially since you can't catch the permasprinting gits) but it's not _just_ to piss people off (or rather the end result is more than just "pissed off censi/whoever") it's all part of the "big bad world" RvR compared to an instanced bit of pvp...

Btw, it is possible for a support specced cleric to get solo kills so dont give up hope and moc shear only!

my cleric is 42 enhance, 30 rejuv and 15 smite and has more solo kills than my wiz :/ rezzing lowbies in DF and killing the odd stealher is fun.

Because it means win or lose I still have to waste 15 minutes at tank speed going back to rebuff and more then likely dying on the way. This isn't OF anymore hun, back in the days of epic armour and no spellcrafting you can get away with it. Now such heavy disadvantages as missing buffs would be far more fatal.

And in some cases missing buffs can be more dangerous for the enemy too, just check the picture in my sig

Kagato, just a note and i dunno if you can be arsed to do it of course, but your siege guide could do with an update with towers being repairable now etc

Its a good little beginners guide and i keep pointing some of the less experienced and the odd rare new (!) players who ask me NF questions at it, but it's slightly dated now.

There is a note at the end of the guide regarding that, though there may be some missing new infomation, on the whole the tactics have not changed a great deal. Destroying the tower is still usually the best option, its just less rewarding due to it being so easy to rebuild. I will start making notes of whats different now or needs adding and will update it when complete. If you've spotted anything in paticular though feel free to pm me and i'll add it to my list.

That is my whole point, you cannot actually win, there is no chance to win from the start to the end. Even if you kill the enemy, your still out of action, you've still lost, you still have to return to the begining.
