Yeah, I like the new book cases. Its no longer a case of dragging books into position. I only have the house in Whiterun, trying to get the one in Solitude at the moment. Its only got one display for weapons and a few chests.
Had a funny moment last night, have been Arch-mage for a while and went to Solitude and spoke to the court mage and she said 'you look like you have some magicka about you' well yes I am the Arch-mage.

Bookcases bug like hell, E not working and can't take books out at times. Better to just place them yourself.

Lockpicking perks are pretty much useless. Should be that you can't open a chest without an appropriate level. Adept for adept etc.

thats bollocks. so you have to spend 100 points in lockpicking just to open integral chests? what a load of old shit.

Oh, they patched it or something? I think I only have one point in lock picking and been opening master locks. Takes a bit of time and quite a few picks but get it done. Not played it in a few days though.

ah nm, i see.

It would atleast make lockpicking a viable career path, instead of what it is now. You could ofcourse hire a companion to do it for you(although ofcourse, every companion is a mater level lockpicker o_O). Should be that perks open higher locks, chests aren't critical for story(as they don't seem to be) and only sneakier companions can do it for you.

Funny how the system works at times, might contain low level spoilers;

Bro got sven to join up.
Tried to pickpockets svens mother.
Svens mother caught him.
Sven killed his mother(fun moment right there)

Gets better.

Sven and bro meet a bounty hunter.
Bounty hunter has letter "I want this guy dead bladibla."
Signed...Sven :D

Progress slowed on this as feeling ill most the weekend and didn't wish to spew all over my laptop.

Got to level 14 though and deciding I may actually start doing the main quests now rather then doing every cave/dungeon I find then leave as it's too high for me :D.

Little tip to get a few levels in, Everz.

Make Iron daggers, lots of them, cheap way to get to 100 smithing which gives you a nice bit of xp and then enables you to craft yourself a nice set of dragon armor once you get a few of the smithing perks.

Also, disenchant a few items (preferably weapons) then, as you make the iron daggers you can enchant them with any soul gems you may of obtained, thus gaining a bit more exp.

You shall then be ready to venture into the world and kick some ass, just watch out for hagravens, they are mean untill you get quite high.

This sounds like that World of Warcraft South Park episode.

Cool :)

Shame about the state of thieves on the internet, needing to put pots on heads or some such to do menial heists.

This current generation of RPG thievery is pathetic :p

As much as I love Skyrim, I miss being able to create spells. I might change myself to a lower level, seem to be leveling up far too quickly. Seem to be once per hour

Wouldn't say much, I do tend to use reanimate corpse and firebolt spells alot, lockpicking levels up very quickly. Every time I am in a town I will find a trainer and buy all the skills in areas I don't use much but need like Restoration and Speechcraft. The only problem I have had so far was my battle against Morikai in the mages questline, took me nearly a hour to beat him, as 3 shots from his staff killed me. As I don't use followers it was a long process of hit with sword, run (whirlwind), heal, conjure atronach, hide, save and repeat process till he went down.

I love sneaking. Started with a 2h Redguard female. Too easy. Started a destruction only darkelf... Bit too hard on expert level. Finally on a Woodelf archer/thief. Im loving it! Sneakily taking out targets with longrange arrows = satisfying.

I've managed to hit the level cap with my Wood Elf archer/thief. I may have used an exploit on the Oghma Infinium. The game is a bit easy now. Level 81, armour rating over the armour cap and a bow with over 500 damage. The master Illusion spell Mayhem makes life a bit easy too.

Also, my horse is a fucking psycho.

Playing a conjurer atm. It's a bit easy but loads of fun. Flame Atronach (sp?) and a bound sword with the upgrade perk, things go down verrrrry quickly.

How have you got a bow with 500+ dammage?! I'm 100 in archery and using a tweaked ebony bow (which if i recall right has a dammage rating of 110) and with daedric arrows gives me like 136??? Either you've found some kinda glitch or bullshittin us man!

Also, i've got the archery perk at level 5, which makes bows do double dammage..

Agile defender 5, armsman 5, and the archery one

You need full ranks in Smithing, Enchanting and Alchemy and a few perks.

Enchant up some Alchemy gear and fortify Smithing gear. You'll get +25% which can go on 4 items. Go make potions to boost Enchanting and Smithing. Drink the potion for enchanting and make Fortify Archery gear. You'll get 45% boosts to damage. Go make a Daedric Bow and then improve it under the Smithing potion and clothes. Bam, 501 damage Legendary Bow for me.

You can loop the Alchemy/Enchant set a couple of times to increase it more, I have been told. But I couldn't be arsed getting enough Grand Souls to make that happen. You can farm mammoths for them if you think that isn't enough damage. Or be evil and get Black Souls.
