i'd imagine mythic will go very easy on EU accts re-oppening, I mean, it means cash right?

I'm all set copied my US version of DAOC made a new folder, used the EU patch info, a small 5meg dl and I'm good to go.

just need mythic to activate the re-subs and I'm done

IF you had an active account at the 15th when mythic took over you are able to log in since everyone that had an active acc got a free month from mythic.
For the rest of us we can only wait till they sort the acc pages since there is no option atm for us to renew even when you've logged into your account.

That's exactly what i have and i cant get through the login.

"Login server not responding, please try again in a few minutes."

From what I gather if you did have an active sub back before the servers shut you cant play just now.

I thought everyone was entitled to a free month if they had a previous active sub or not though ?

I just want Mythic to post up some guidance tbh, Also do you have to use the EU launcher, or can you use the US one, I though we would just be able to use the US one seeing as the information has been transferred over now?

The reason why they did transfers instead of new clustering was so the cluster database would not be cluttered up with inactive characters, which I am guessing helps the servers run better.

Surely the database containing character data would sit on a seperate server so the only thing it would effect is disk space, and why in all the history of amalgamating servers have they now decided to do transfers and always gone for the clustering option.

this is wht i did and im in,

1st was to use eu client i had orig cd`s still so installed them and using the patch http://darkageofcamelot.com/international/goa/daoc-patch-eu.zip patched it took a while but worked think i had like about 3600 mb but i had only the orig camalot cds so it had o get LoTM dl`d now im in,

but it says on camalot herald now if you have a char in housing do not log it in but log 1 in whats outside housing and appeal using that.

think its still on camalot actually think the 3600mb was that i had german cd`s and changed language to english

But it's had no effect whatsoever, so i'm going to delete it and start again.

Should I try and find my old CD's to get the EU client, then redo the patch?
Or Should i download the US client from the website, then redo the patch?
I want to eventually resubscribe my EU account (when allowed) and enter the Dyvet cluster and then eventually transfer to ywain.

Because at the moment i have no DAOC on my laptop whatsoever, except for this useless patch!

Any advice?

We headed to fins to do some exp was just the two of us on when i did /who and within 20min some sorc came and mezzed us and killed us.. I rofled and went to bed
