That is happening now thanks to the Chinese, its just the improvements are not keeping up with population and its soon going to get biblical..ok Gates can spout out the obvious..but if you go back to my original comment...what was racist last week is now the EU policy..ie, stop them coming.
All the EU countries have cut NA migration to practically zero..thats why Italy is overun.

Improve quality of life and birthrate drops. Happens everywhere with one exception; America. Because America is always the fucking exception.

But rent! got to screw the poor man!

Its a UNESCO World Heritage site, which basically means you as a state make a commitment not to fuck it up. If it was a individual or company doing it, the Polish authorities are supposed to sanction them, as its the Polish state, the next authority up (the ECJ) has to make a call. I don't really see a problem.

Don't understand what rent has to do with Polish deforestation?

Or are you just following me round the forum prodding again?

I mean, I've deliberately not replied to a single post of yours for over a week...

I wasn't replying to you, the thread in general. If I was replying to you I would have used the quote function. Hilarious that you are such a deluded narcissist that you thought I was though :) You can even see by the time stamp the two posts were at pretty much the same time.

Land is cleared to all over the world to create land that is then rented to people.

Yeah right. Two minutes later and you've had a pop at me for renting my house out before.

I believe ya.

Edit: Please to be showing where in the article it says anything about renting the land out or fucking over the poor and I'll retract my statement...

As part of the EU, if the government are sanctioning something that is illegal under EU law, it is the job of the EU to prosecute. Perfectly reasonable. As for the ethics of clearing public land, historically we have cleared most of ours for development, land that wasn't owned by anyone in particular taken over and rented back to those that used it.

Actually, forest cover in England was less than fifteen percent over a thousand years ago. Humans in England had been deforesting at a massive rate for farming, building, fuel and other reasons for a long time before land ownership became an issue.

Inflation is down.

Is it OK to attribute it to Brexit, or is that only when it goes up?!

If it goes up it's Because Brexit, if it goes down it's Despite Brexit.

No its not OK to attribute it to Brexit, its due to a drop in global oil prices, and despite the drop its still 0.6% above the BoE target.

If it goes up it's Because Brexit, if it goes down it's Despite Brexit.

Yup. Be as smartarsed as you like, but that's pretty much the size of it, and probably will be until 2019 or there's certainty on a deal to allow the currency to stabilise, which is probably the same timeframe since they're doing about an hour a week of negotiations at the moment. .

Yes I know what it is down to but the knee-jerk reaction is to blame all things bad on Brexit, regardless of cause.

I have FB friends who are fans of the more right-wing things. They like and repost stuff from the spokespeople thereof. Recently I saw a post where Brexit was set up as Britian fighting for "freedom", that Britain owed the EU nothing and that the EU owed Britain (Note: it's always Britain, never the UK, Canada, Australia, etc etc) everything for single handedly saving the EU's collective bacon in WWII.

The urge to reply stating that the fact that Brexit is even a thing being the ultimate expression of being free in the first place is strong in me. At the same time I'm so tired that I can't summon the energy to combat the cries of "is thinking thus must be liberal/snowflake/communist/anarchist/socialist/terrorist/non-patriotic/anti-monarchy and above all certainly not anglo-saxon". I need to mine some of Raven and Scouse's energy :)

About 360,000 Minis are made each year, with more than 60% of them built at Oxford. But BMW has built up an alternative manufacturing base in the Netherlands amid concerns about Britain's suitability as an export hub after Brexit.

BMW has warned about the damage of Brexit uncertainty, and in May chief executive Harald Krueger said the company had to remain "flexible" about production facilities.

did you even read it tho ^^

Slovakian PM Robert Fico, who last year said the EU has to punish Britain for Brexit and the the UK will need to accept free movement.
Well now hes ripping the EU a new one saying they will never accept refugee quotas.
Oh ..and hes always said Islam has no place in his country.

Nobody actually cares what he or anyone from his country says, so long as they keep providing cheap labour, like a good little tribute.

That reply exactly sums up the EU...28 countries working together as long as 26 of them do what two of them say.

You're still banging that drum after every single other nation in the EU had a faster rate of growth than the UK in the first quarter of this year? You should pick a country that doesn't have one of the fastest growing economies in Europe as an example next time. The recent Q2 growth figures for the UK aren't exactly worth singing from the rooftops about.
