Pin's raids are faster than either of yours .

But that aside, wtf are we arguing about?

It's ok for Falcor to run raids.

It's ok for Aligro to run raids.

It's ok for anyone else to run raids.

And tbh, while aligro has typically been slower we're talking about half an hour out of 4 (everyone takes way more than 2 hours since the last patch).

To my mind neither set of claim rules are ideal (ideal = lotto by guild) but they are close enough not to matter that much.

As stated on one of falcors raid threads, if you don't like it, don't go. Imo its nice to have choice between the two, so if you don't like whats going down on one raid, you can go to the other.

Nothing to do with "loving" Falcor, I just respect the trouble he went through organising such raids, and the way some Alb realm members start bitching and being ungrateful right away.

Yes. But the same is also true for Aligro or whoever else is running a raid, so stop measuring the same thing with different scales.

Thing is that you need a level limit for the raids. Otherwise, lvl 42`s or 40`s or 35`s or 30`s or 15`s will come and (because they´re wasting their time on the raid) claim a spot in the lotto. The reason why so many people are favouring the lvl 50 only rule is, that a lvl 50 doesn´t get anything from a raid except the chance for a drop, while the sub lvl 50 will also get good xp.

It´s futile to discuss this. There is no right and no wrong. I think the difference - rulewise - between Aligro and Falcor rules is minimal and definitely not worth being discussed for 3+ pages.

The XP is ok not that great though - far better on a Legion raid for example, or spending the 5-6 hours in AC

The reason you have to have a limit at 45 or 48 or whatever is simply a "usefullness" cap and to encourage people to bring their mains - a 40 character will help, but
not quite so much as a 45 and they'll not be quite so much as a 50. A level-weighted lotto might be a better way to do it. Have level 50s /random 500, level 45s /random 450 for example. Simpler just to have a level limit.

Indeed, if you like Falcor's rules - go on his raid, if you don't, don't.

Same with Aligro's - no need for the personal attacks on either of them.

If you don't like either set of rules, run your own raid. Noone's claimed the 20th yet No guild or invite-only raids on saturdays though - the good thing about both aligro and falcor's raids are that they are both open invite, giving people who wouldn't otherwise have it the chance to go to Caer Sidi.

Correct, but since the additional time taken is due to Aligro generally messing around and posing with each and every item that drops its understandable that people cant be bothered with it.

ok.... backstabbing falcor how? let me remind you that i was the first person to actually make a sidi raid, then i gave albion a sidi raid every week for ages.. you say i do this for my own personal interest?? just because i have been away for 5-6 weeks (and falcor knows this as i pm'ed him saying i wouldn't be doing a raid and that he could have it) it does not mean i am doing a raid just to piss falcor off or offer for those who dont want all this nonsense about RR5+ etc etc a different raid. i am doing it because i enjoy leading the raids, i enjoy the thought that people are listening to me and supporting me.

I might start attending to falcor raids again just to give him my support...

learn from falcor how to lead sidi...his rules aint fully to my liking, but at least he can do a quick and efficient raid anytime....

lol where do you get these wild 7 hours to kill horsemen rumours from, from my memory we used to have the horsemen killed at like 5:30 (starting at 1:00) then lotto finished and everyone home by 7pm... so get ur facts straight, maybe if twats like you wouldnt piss around and actually listen to orders it could go quicker

It seem's kinda silly to pick sides between falcor or aligro considering both of them take nearly the same amount of time running the raids and i think most of the problems on the raids are due to the few people who rufuse to listen to the raid leaders.

Add in the fact that sidi had bugs.

Been on allot raids most of them failed raids due too bugs or people not listening at certain times, so i dont think you can really compare aligro n falcor in that way it would not be fair unless you have run raids yourself consistantly which were faster with hardly any problems.

Also both of them have showed off the odd sidi weapon before lotto at one time or another not that it matters in the slightest.

Only difference would be the rules and the asking to pre claim items or out right claiming which i ant even going to debate cuz its too messy to get into. That and the rr5 rule which should never have been invented.

lets hope someone or something blocks the enterence too sidi so no one can get in cuz to be honest that one zone has caused more arguments then the war in iraq ...

4.5hour raid + 1.5hour lotto is not exactly something to boast about. Particularly when this was all before this latest patch.

Falcor's raids were at least 1 hour faster, and my own was 1.5+ hours faster (and then didn't have 100 people sat around for another 90 minutes for the whole tedious lotto with you wielding every single item)

Been to 3 or 4 raids now with various different leaders and so far ever single one has died at Bellum anyway, not even seen apoc yet.

I don't give a shit what the rules are or who's leading, if im out of bed by then (even at 1 pm thats not always likely) i'll go to anyones raid.

Whats changed with Bellum since patch? In 1.60 it was incredibly easy, no problem at all. Now its a nightmare. Weird, and more than the to-hit bonus changes would explain.

All epic mobs are harder this patch due to the to-hit changes. This means that Bellum now takes over twice as long to bring down, and that all casters' power is exhausted before he is. In this time, the weapons rip through your support and a raid of 80 will be easily wiped if you use the same tactics as pre-patch.


The raid on Sunday had no problems bringing him down though

Is it a match who can clear Sidi fastest or something?

I am always bored in Sidi after 10 minutes, no Falcor or Pin who can change the fact that bashing the same kind of mobs over and over again is boring

Was nice in the beginning that Aligro wielded the weapons because it was all new and stuff.

Nowadays Sidi-raid is routine and people wanna clear it as fast as possible. Dunno why, they prolly think it's boring. If its boring then why go at all ?
