do you moisturise your face every day?
i get dry skin and it really makes a difference, twice a day and lovely skin:)

Give products you use.

I used clearasil ultra deep pore treatment scrub but it gave me spots after using it so i was a bit 'errr' (cost me 5 quid the fuckin thing).

I had poor face complexion and a couple of spots I wanted to get rid of so I bought the clearasil stuff.

I use to put it on (as a cream), rub it in, go to bed and wash off next morning and after a week or so i ended up having more spots.

Now i just use hot water to open the pores, soap to wash and then cold water to close the pores but it isn't having much effect :(

Im sure I read somewhere that the reason it itches after the hairs sprout, is because razors, scissors and shavers all work by sheering the end of the hair off, leaving an effectivly pointed hair, like a spear.
So you spear yourself with your hair when you move around etc.
I figured it might take a day or two, but I'd gone 'spearing' myself for like two weeks straight x<

AGH! dont use normal soap. it dries out your skin.
clearasil will have given you spots for a reason - if there are impurities that need to come out, they will. using a decent cleanser will bring these out and then help prevent 'new' impurities from getting stuck in your skin. having said that, a lot of clearasils older stuff is a bit 'wtf' and way too harsh. but a lot of it has recently been reformulated & repackaged. if you need skincare help, pm me :p
a lot of people will find they have a huge breakout after having a facial because of the deeper cleaning than usual. do not be put off - keep using it.

I use Dove Moisturising Soap so it doesn't dry out my skin. But it doesn't help much in terms of spots/different tones of face complexion

Can you suggest any decent cleansers? I have got CottonTree Daily Cleansing Wipes but they don't seem to do much :x

Am I right in my method? Is it safe to leave the cream on for 7-10 hours whilst I sleep or should I put it on 30 mins before bed and then wash off before going into bed?

Never really occured to me to shave/trim down there until an ex claimed that she felt like she was "flossing". After that it's always trimmed :p

dont ever use normal soap:p!
its horrible
and clearisil has bad reviews also

ok for the spots Oxipads i think they;re called, i dont get achne... but work for all my friends, and they're a great cleanser, i used to use them when i got the odd spot, and for daily use, they have a side with some chemical for spots which you use all over your face, and then turn the pad over and cleanse:) makes you feel so clean these pads

the clinique line and nivea men lines are great! use anything from there you need, cleanser, scrub, moisturiser all good :)

oo future job aspects here for me i think

and she's a real hoot on msn Blackjack^^, however i have better porno

pfft my porno is better than yours because im not so damn picky!

anyway soap: dove soap (as my nurse told me) is absoloutely no better for you than normal stuff if you have dry skin (like me), i find using shower gel is a heck of a lot better than soap and dont get rippedoff by stuff that claims to be what its not.

if spots are your main concern then something containing salicylic acid will work a treat. it kills bacteria that clog your sking up as well as helping reduce spots. it will also help exfoliate dead skin cells and clear your pores should you get blackheads. you can find it in the Boots 'botanics pore perfecting' range (the ingredients will say 'salix nigra' which is the tree it comes from).
as a precaution for when you get a breakout, i keep an astringent (to dry it out). any 'toner' that contains alcohol is great as an astringent. you can also use witch hazel. put it on some cotton wool and hold it on the spot for a while. it'll sting but you'll deal with it. then put on an anti blemish targetting thing. again, the Boots 'botanics pore perfecting 2in1 blemish wand' is good - it contains rosemary, salicylic acid and burdock, all known for their clarifying properties. it also has a concealer for if it's visible from space.
and always use an oil free moisturiser. if you get an oily nose, some moisturisers have sebum-regulating ingredients like kaolin (a kind of clay) or 'microsponges'. I don't recommend any in particular.

it's safe but most likely not doing any benefit. wash it off before going to bed - it might end up clogging your pores up if you leave it on all night.

Agree with Haarewin, best stuff I've ever used is the Witch Hazel or Tea Tree combo stuff for helping to dry up oily skin and help dispurse spots.

The Boots Botanicals range is exceptionally good, and no I'm not saying that just cos I used to work for them :)

i remember in my teens it used too be worse during winter. Sunshine is good vs spots. I also noticed pork meat for some reason increased the amount of spots i had. What also was of great influence is your hormones, so the more sex you have and the more u masturbate the more zits you get :p, strange but tru :(

Bugz mate get your butt down to House of Fraser, loads of hot chicks that know their shit, you get alot more respect when they discover you look after your skin aswell :p I use a combination of Clinique for men Facial scrub and facial wash, I always moisturise with Loreal for Men just a new thing but it smells lovely. To wrap it all up splash on a bit of Bvlgaria Aqva, oh the ladies will be impressed :)

Givf yourself a facial (not Blowing your load in your own face you twats :p) once in a while aswell, a nice mud pack gets the skin all nice.

Well no reason other than thats where I get my stuff from, I dont find the stuff that expensive, but then again I dont mind spending money on something that is beneficial to me.
