also how do you deal witht he bumps which come up due to the nicks on the skin. You need to reshave and will end up going over them again and therefore not allowing it to heal up, or do u just shave around?
and for ingrowing hairs I've had to use a pin to bring them up (you can see them under the skin) then pull them out. But I'm thinking i shouldn't pull them out and just cut them and allow them to grow in the right direction instead of allowing the skin to regrow over where it was, and the hair folicual end up being stuck ender the new skin (going in circles). I know it sounds kinda extreme but it's something alot of men have to put up with, and in extreme cases (some condition its called, cant remember of the top of my head) have to get the area of skin out out (happened to someone I knew)
The only thing I can think of is perhaps getting something like magnesium sulphate paste (I think it's this stuff, can't remember the blasted name, but I'm sure it's the same stuff they use for ingrowing toenails)? You can get it from behind the counter in chemists like Boots (if you're in the UK).
It works to draw things out, like splinters etc, so it may work on tough hairs. Also the nicking thing, if you just let them bleed they'll close up faster.
