You perform your Copperhead perfectly (+97):
You attack SB with your adze and hit for 275 (+16).
I think we can agree my base-damage is high due to the fact I debuffed his damage. My base-damage would be lower if he wasnt weak to my damage-type, correct?
I hit for 275; with a 75% style reduction I hit therefore for 178 + (0.25x 97) = 202 damage. Straight up 27% damage decrease (correct me if Im wrong)
afaik, this is calculated w/o taking in account any resists. thus - u'd hit for 259 with 97 styled part (and 162 base), and with 75% reduction it would be 186dmg. that's 29% dmg decrease, true....but how much ur offhand hits for? and this is base dmg, remember..
vs someone who's using high GR styles and no offhand - this may be a life-saver. vs dualers - 'tis not.
upd:
seen the logs..hmmm..strange
seems that reduction applies b4 actual hit takes place on target...but i cant determine what is the base value which is reduced, and what role resists play in it.
gonna test.
thx for info.
