Or just fill out the court forms. It's harder for people to just bin those as if they do, you can win by default.

Not sure if this has been adressed, but for some problems there are 'civil procedure rules' that a plaintiff must follow before going to county court.

If they are not followed before going to court, the judge can chuck the case out.

I liked the when part of that statement. It made me smile.

Not sure what help the e-mail info will be, since I never sign up to an account with a real name, dob, or address. I just make them up. Still, watch this space.

On the upside, I managed to find someone to trade two Pearl Jam tickets with me for two FNM tickets, so I AM GOING TO THE BALL. Fuck you scammer. I get to see the band I want, and get you arrested.

Sounds like criminal action is being taken, however, I do not think you can get compensation through the criminal action.
For compensation, you may like to try the country court unless he gives some voluntary payment.

Lou, more than happy to draft court forms for you.
I dare say people on FH would pitch in a few quid each for the filing fee? Although he may not have your cash, you could a) Get an order over his property if he doesn't pay, and then send in baliffs to take his TV, PC etc.
b) Get a part payment order over any wages he earns, ever, until he pays you. Meaning they deduct the money straight from his pay slips.
By getting a court judgement against him, he'll basically never get a mortgage or any significant loan.
