he has 7% or so slash resist, an extra 19% would knock around 60 dmg from the 313 snowblind (doublefrost still hits slightly harder..and comeback, FG, SS and IB harder still) knocking it down to 250...whcih is still 2x as hard as DW/CD can hit.

DW/CD is working as planned tho LA is (soon was) overpowered.

I say they will have exctly same stuff as a NS, (infils still need that 2.5 removed)
what i know cs is the same in all realms and that is what all shades are using.
So stfu now you have the skill lines as the other assassins.

They still dont have resistant armour
the ability to spec str/dex weapons

A decent class specific RA (Shadowrun hardly compares to viper or vanish..)
no 1st chain evade stun
So no, they wont have exactly the same as other assasins had.

Jupp it's overpowered vs gimped INF's, but the real world against INF that have everything maxed is this:

Now take away 20% form relics and another 35-40% ~ SB a destroyed class vs INF/NS. The problem with LA is that for assassin balance you have to look at the dmg they are doing debuffed. If you let the SB do dmg to you at full str you have lost in the first place.

well..
You do 241 mainhand damage, and 61 offhand (15 dps handaxe im guessing?) and you admit being DEBUFFED, against a realm rank 7 infil, one of the best at that.
note: [02:52:07] A barrier absorbs 80 damage of your attack! (ie if the AA shield hadn't gone off, your dmg would have been 241.)
now, 20% from 241 is 196 (2 seperate 10% relics, so would be 241 - 24 = 217 - 21 = 196)
then 35-40% from that aswell..and your still doing more Damage than Remi (The realm rank 7-8 infil with a ton of RAs when he's using a good lvl buffbot) unless he gets in a lucky high crit.
fyi the damage absorbed by the BARRIER ALONE is higher than most infils hit back for.
It's funny, most SBs nowadays sound like the chanters who say "our baseline nukes which cap everytime are totally fine".
seriously man, forget about the whine threads on ign, and count the amount of times you TOTAL spank an infil in 2-4 hits, you never really remember them, but theres more than you expect in 1 run in emain (always 1-2 camping mtk, mmg, amg, tower, atk, hills between atk-amg etc)

Hehe - I don't really agree with skill = items though.
I use crappy items, always have done and I do ok, not bothered with SC.
Edit: And I spent months with 23 rsp to use because the choices were crap.
Skill = timing, knowledge of enemies and classes and tactics really IMHO.
Items in Daoc can make up for lack of skill in daoc.

Hmm...you missed your CD. I purged your debuff. I evaded like 5-6 times and I had like 1% hp left. You fumbled. I was extreamly lucky with evades etc, you were not. Get purge and don't always walk with the zerg

Can't ever remember the day that 28% slash resistance, and complete MP af 102 suit helped me vs LA styles
, fyi I haven't fought a sb since dragonstones implemented that can't hit me for less then 180 in opening (compared to my uberness 70 if lucky).Hell my offhand weapon hits for double the damage of my mainhand using the thrust anytime style.

Edit: using Dualists Reflexes III as RA to at least hit with offhand since we dont swing every round ;>
Hell, i even see RR2 sbs that can easily chain off 1000 damage on me and i have to deal with getting 200 off and really hoping for an evade.
Debuffed or un-debuffed .. sbs hits for way more then intended to when using LA spec
. I usually debuff sb, sb debuffs me .. usual fights .. still he do tripple my damage on my hardest hiting style (Wyvernfang) even when im fully buffed and using MP Guarded Rapier.
