You must be confusing with hibs tbh all they did these last days was exactly that. Even funny Tags group runing out and only engaging us when we fighting mids ( twice 1 on eras keep and 1 on eras3).
Maybe red is green for you or you need glasses aswell Crom

Dont be daft, i'm talking historically. Maybe you need to learn to read posts before you repond to them :(

Also there a fricken still loads of albs around - we dont have superior numbers - just superior players. :fluffle:

Last night alb poc was stuffed full of pve'in albs - like wtf.

well at this rate i can see me and taglim playing our albs chars soon cos of all the hibs

Oh please no, rather roll Mids or something. In Albion we have people who are living up to their priciples, either they zerg and are proud or they don't. Case-to-case hypocrites found a new home in Hibernia, so stay there or go Midgard.

Value of living up to a principle is measured by the principle itself - what principles are 'they' living up to?

These days there is no 8v8 whine from mids or hibs, very little 'added on my fight' stuff - not sure what principles you talking about here.

We were there with 6 ppl and a few bb's. Some of us lvl'd our lowbies and others needed CL, Artie xp + the last days some ppl from our group are fed up being rp farmed by the hibs. So think they needed break from rvr.

Not all guilds are rvr-only guilds you know :)

I disagree on that. There are principles and principles but living up to them and trying to pretend to live up to them is what I mean.

For example CM never made a fuss of how they play, they never pretended to be a non-adding group or non-adding solo players. See below...

Wasn't talking about 8 vs 8. I see a lot of players in Hibernia (mainly that gimped caster group with the usual suspects) who run the same way CM does (taking keeps and shit also when no one is there), running over solo guys. Per se there is nothing wrong with that as the game allows it, but the same guys used to whine about CM's actions, critisising them, pretending that they'd never do such a thing.

I remember English on a Shaman or Tags when playing in Albion, they didn't use to add on solo fights or group up versus solo guys, maybe once to get the RPs, but then they let it be. That changed too after they started to play in Hibernia, so once again principles gone. And I don't understand why, I don't think this is helping the game, you know yourself, you're considering to roll Albion, when CM isn't around, Albs can't do anything on their own and the few solo guys left like me have to play a stealther to get anything done or to log.

my principles stay the same, and probably everyone elses do. People who add on me, ill add on them. You are one of them people, so you get your own shit back when I add on you. Take Eul for example, I could have added on him 10000 times and vice versa, but we appreciate not adding as it just spoils the fights. We got to the point were we just hug spam each other now.

Its weird how 90% of the people on IRC are the ones who want decent fights and wont add respectable people....

Places and times please? From my perspective your Mentalist has been always grouped since I came back, so if you mean that I add on you and your buddies with a solo char then it is a funny definition of adding.

You have ran me down in a duo/trio and also never hesitated to nuke me down when MoS Ranger destealthed me so I don't know what you are about.

Before my break I met your Shaman (unless it was someone else playing him, but I remeber him from your former signature on FH) often and your behaviour was the opposite of what you do now, we'd have our 1 vs 1 kiting games or just leave each other when busy with other folks.

Sometimes I fear you play like you play because you can't take the critique.

As for Eul and IRC, what does have to do with the topic? I almost never use IRC when playing DAoC and from what I recall Eul considers casters free for all where I didn't have a chance yet to meet your Mentalist out solo fighting someone, I usually also leave casters having their fight. If you have a special agreement with Eul it's none of my business.

Well i only know of 2 chars you have Manish but if someone tells me all your char names I can probably think of an instance u have added on. I advice u to not attack my menta aswell unless u can land a PA... as many other stealthers have noticed, my rr5 is always up ;)

So first you say you add on me because I add on you and now you say I might have added on you, as you don't remeber it.

Thanks for the discussion.

I don't have PA and I don't need it versus any caster who is alone, but I could use Purge II for the occasional stun/mezz.

Interesting

Last night alb poc was stuffed full of pve'in albs - like wtf.

It is interesting this.

I have access to all three realms (I know, x-realmer etc. etc.) but generally end up playing Hib because people are much more prepared to make groups.

I also play Mid when people will make groups, but it just seems a bit harder on Mid to get people to group up.

I have a small window of opportunity to play some evenings, so I have to take what I can to get some game time.

However, what was interesting is that the other night, out of interest, I checked the numbers on each realm. There were (roughly) 40 Hibs, 40 Mids and 90 Albs on line.

Hib had a couple of groups out, Mid had a group out, but no Albs appeared until CM showed up around 11:00 PM UK time.

So, what do the Albs do with themselves "prime time"? And no, this is not a flame, I don't flame, I am just interested.

Out of 90 people surely Alb could make a half decent group who are willing to roam and not just /stick to towers?

It is not like Hib or Mid have great groups. It is rare we have two druids or healers, and I think there are only a couple of regular bards around (one being my lad on our bard).

Having said that, RvR and Dyvet can be a lot more fun than the doom and gloom merchants state. We have been back for a week now, and the £24 investment seems worthwhile at the moment.

If we could attract another 50 or so RvR type people across the realms, I think Dyvet could fill a nice niche and become quite a nice server again.

Everyone know Alb rely on CM. When Cm are about, theres another fg randomers following behind. Its why everyone asks if CM are online as no albs come out if they arent ;/

The albs (well some of them) seem to be suffering from some sort of persecution complex.

I suppose it must be frustrating if you are roaming and every time mids and hibs both hit you time and time again when it is a three way (though how often does that happen these days?!) - but there is a definite dearth of roaming pugs.

Maybe aside from CM and friends there really are very few albs who are used to running in groups - where as speaking from a hib pov, quite a few of the people left have at one time or another been involved with guilds groups.
