Ok a good reason is, TADAA!: DAoC is dying anyone? No? Less and less players? Now HOW do we prevent that? Or at least reduce the numbers that are dropping? I do enjoy the game a great deal, i have alot of fun playing it casually with my rl friends who don't post here.. Maybe you should learn to read better and grasp the fact that everyone has a different playstyle and enjoys the game in different ways

Yes i change zones sometimes when emain is slow, when albs had nottmoor i tended to be between notts and bled, got stealthzerged alot but its fun, i just try to mix and match the fun

As for swopping characters soon i will be able too when my alt has his artifacts levelled but atm i am stuck with my ranger.

But like i said, if i adhered to your rules last night for instance i wouldn't really of being able to play or have any fun, it really is just a conflict of playstyles. I prefer irvr in emain where there is constant targets and less moaning about adding due to constant targets for everyone.

For starters thank you for the kind comments, i think the whole problem lies in boats, if they removed them everyone would go through agramon, which would centralize rvr for the players who enjoy large scale rvr, this would also make zones like emain etc more solo player friendly. This is something i think they are trying to achieve with the expansion by putting the dungeon under Agramon.

As for somewhere to solo i really don't have the answer for that, its a tough question to answer, because while i attack targets in emain you can goto hadrians and find a scout there who plays like me, or the same with a middy stealther, i really think the removal of boats would help the solo players more.

If the solo's left emain i would move to where there were targets, many times there has been lik 9 ppl in emain and no enemies, so i go elsewhere.

If you had any sense you would listen and think about how to constructively improve the game for the soloers... Sorry don't mean to be flamy but here is a guy actually giving advice about the game and telling people why it doesn't make sense to fight in his front yard.... just making personal attacks is not the answer.

There are something wrong with the game mechanics when people cant add.

The lack off cc is the key to the problem, if all stealthers had access to some sort of cc (15 sec insta aoe-mezz) we would be able to handle an add or 2.

And nope, the mezz-poison aint insta.

Some people show respect on this forum by chatting in a mature and sensible way, alot don't, the fact so many get banned and so many threads get locked is a clear indication that alot of people are disrespectful of others.

constructively improve the game for the soloers is just possible, with abit of deference against other people.

His staements are, that he dont care about the comunity we all play in, he just dont care.
His playstyle fits to his sense of fun/joy, which doesnt get shared by the mayority.

I don't go to emain as the only zone to solo in, far from it. The fact you were usually there when there was absolutely no one out except for soloers shows how much crap there is in your post. You deliberately go there to add on those who solo, how can you even say otherwise? Crau was a great and quiet place until you and a lot of the bridgecampers showed up.

so let's say 15 ppl from all 3 realm's have fun @ crau (witch is hardly the most busy area in the game go hadrian's 4 that) and u come along a spoil their fun knowingly that they will get pissed @ ya, u then want them to go another place cos u want ur fun at the spot they have been haveing fun @ 4 a rly long time ?

yes they could move place but then there would be empty @ crau, but then u dont have anything to fight and u will have to move along aswell, so why dont ya just move on and let them have their fun playing this game while u can play vs ppl that enjoy's playing like u ?

Main characters ive played are my old healer Morphene (before it became a scam account to that guy who was trading fatbellys zerker around as i gave it to a friend and he sold it after using it as a hastebot for his SB), my old scout edaemos who i played until about 4 months after NF release (this is where i got my experience of the PM stealthzerg)

Then played hib/merlin for a while until i came back here due to time restrictions.

I don't have to be at DC, i gp other places but go DC the most why? because its insta port and action is faster, the same reason many mids sit on bled bridge and albs beno bridge.
