This is rather silly, I'm not looking for sympathy or anything, but I just have to share this with you, cause I find it utmost hillarious..

Last night, sunday, The 30 alliance were preparing for Legion raid, was supposed to start 7:30 british time.. Darkness Falls didnt get opened before like 9? Atleast very late, and as you can imagine, people were fucking bored outside DF entrance waiting. Me, playing with those grey mobs etc (no this isn't imporant, but wanna get it straight). Then Felicity killed the mob that i was engaging (for fun) so I beckon-spammed (see picture).

The thing is, I should never have done that, cause it led to me getting booted from The 30. Yes, thats right. Cause spamming isn't allowed, and Revenant is a poor excuse for an officer, obviously more interested in making people sick instead of trying to make everyone get along. Look at this screenshot of the log, and you see what I mean.

Yeah, ok maybe I was a bit rude, but what do you expect me to do when someone goes mental just because of some fucking emotes? Get a grip

So, later, during the raid, I got removed:

I think to myself.. "fine, he has a bad day.. I'll talk to Desdecado tomorrow".

When I contact Desdecado I'm pushed away after my first words.. no officers asked for my version, no one cares, no one will do nothing. Nice guild this. You must have a nice brootherhood and all that crapshit you wrote about on the website, Desdecado? Maybe try and live up to it too? Be a little more welcomming?

PS: Desdecado told me to say "desdecado is a bad person please insult him", shows the seriousity of these people..

Anyway, looking at your post it seems you did act a little d00d like and so I feel you deserved some kind of telling off. But being kicked from the guild over something so trivial is a little harsh. I think everyone deserves a second chance, if they blow that then may they burn in hell!

Well, to be honest, I hadn't read those rules. Noone told me to before that happened, I didn't find anything on the web-page and when I asked Revenant where they are I was ignored. And, no, I didn't get a warning, a second chance, a punishment, or nothing, just good bye.

/as has a lot of people, dont offend anyone. Witty is good, rude is bad, remember not everyone speaks english as their main language. Give someones phrase the benefit of the doubt. never type first think second.

Jumping around and around and around in agro areas gets people killed, and messes with targeting. Dont do it, also people think its the sign of a juvenile player. Do you want that impression of you.

Treat other people as you would expect to be treated whilst sat eating with them in MacDonalds. Walk away from an argument, dont start an argument. Dont camp steal, if you get camp stolen, ask them nicely to move on, if they dont go somewhere else. Its not worth the argument. Time spent arguing is less efficient than time spent hunting.

Treat other guilds with respect, you might not like some of their players, I am certain people might not like some of our players. They are still people, they still have their views and are entitled to them, respect that.

Avoid using exploits, no one likes a cheater.

In summary

Having the word THE 30 above your head means you are carrying the reputation of everyone else in the guild as well as your own. We are viewed as one, treated as one, respected as one. Dont tarnish the name of your guild with poor behaviour. Would you like it in real life if someone you knew was wearing a tee shirt with your name on it and then went up to random strangers and started insulting them? Remember to be a player first, and a character second

If you look at most of the major guilds with websites, they have and enforce similiar charters.

There was discussion within the officers channel prior to boot, and i support there decision fully, however due to my powercrazed nature, i reserve the right to boot people out at random because they have vowels in their name.

1) Guild for the most part was on keep retakes, save for few people who logged late and then missed main force (me for instance almost made way to nott when we got wiped).
So sitting at df entrance for 2.5 hrs .... brr...
2) As been heard over /os argument went further (quotes out of context actually dont tell the whole story) and if you dont want to post complete log, i can make a pleasure of posting it myself.
3) I voted for boot too. So you have another target for flames.

+ i get a line in /gu complaining about the time of the raid, why DF is not open yet etc, when you were scratching your nose in DF, while we were freezing our butts off in Odins taking keeps.

I dont mine players new to the game, i dont mind players new to t30, what i do hate is smartasses and ppl trying to boss around in their new guild.

Agree with Gideon on this. Hell, to me it looks like Revenant was being quite civil about it.

Also, official CoC does say that spamming phrases that interfere with communication is wrong. Fine, emotes are in a different window, but it's still spam. He'll I'd slap you if you spammed like that.

I don't think it was JUST about the spam, but rather the way you, as a relatively new person to the guild, responded to an officer.

1. As has been mentioned, it's a game so people shouldn't take it so seriously.

2. Orders? What the f*ck kind of guild ORDERS it's members to do things? I really think those people, even if they are 'officers' of their guild should get down off their high horse, it's not the military - and also maybe these people should check point #1 again.

3. 'stop spamming ffs' isn't the most civil way to ask someone to stop emoting in my opinion, especially if they are in your guild and even more so if they are new to the guild and perhaps (a) don't know all the rules by memory (b) didn't know that this person saying 'stop spamming ffs' is an officer and that they are violating a direct order from a higher being and could get court marshalled or even convicted of treason!!

4. He was an idiot for spamming emotes that much also tho.

5. Probably more was said but still harsh to kick someone from the guild just for this.

It all seems a bit silly to me, both the emote spamming, the method of asking him to stop, the kicking from the guild, and the posting on here that he got kicked from the guild... Seems that the average age of The 30 is pretty low.. (maybe teens, probably low teens) but then this would be in line with the rest of Albion.

I myself am an officer of a fairly large guild and if I would've seen him emote spamming he would probably of received the harsh punishment of me saying 'call down a bit mate, emote spamming can be a bit annoying sometimes for other people'.
