He makes me Ill.

It's the way he smiles throughout the video and then stops when he tells a blatant lie 'We're doing something very good with the profits, we're putting them back into the patients hands.'

I agree @Bodhi that the pharmaceutical companies have a right to charge high prices for stuff that they invested resources and time into, for a limited time.

Buying the rights to a drug that someone else invented and morally sold at a fair price to then take it over and sell it at an immoral price is immoral. You can't defend this guy.
That time limit is 22 years. I dont see why people arnt making generic versions of this.

Only reasokn to not make generic version is that the market for it is so small that its not worth it.

I dunno.

Is that EU law?

Do they have to release the recipes or is it at the governments request?

I don't believe I did at any point. Only issue I have with this story is the continuing references to this as an AIDS drug - which it isn't.

(Not aimed at you in the slightest, even IFLS are at it, not that that shocks me).

Should have told them you had loads of tax that you didn't pay, they'd soon be on to you!

You can guarantee it. However, as they owe me £5k as I haven;t claimed any business miles for 3 years (hardly did any to warrant it), they seem to be a bit on the slow side.

They reckon it will take 2 months to process! Two bloody months!!!

Amazing.

I have a similar situation with Student Finance, surprise, surprise.

When I was ringing them to check if they were giving me enough money, they were slow, and crap, as soon as they want money back, they're quick to respond.

Maybe they have the similar kind of system for internet companies - they more or less agree not to step on each others turf. So long as they don't take the piss.

I hope this is the case so this firm gets annihilated by the others.
Gsk sell it in uk for 13 quid for 30 tabs. So its only those supplied by the yanks that are getting shafted.

To be fair, your one word comment could have just been "America". HE wouldn't be allowed to do this in the EU because we still have that one word that makes capitalism work "regulation".
TTIP...

Write to them and say you will be charging them interest on the outstanding balance.
Just like they would do to you!

Downloading games from the PSN store.

Seriously, I want to open the taps on my 75 megabit fibre, but it slows to 300kbytes per sec. Pausing the download and unpausing seems to fix it.

Don't have that trouble with Steam #PCmasterrace

But yeah, PSN is a load of bollocks and while a step forward in the land of consoles needs a complete overhaul.

I am dreading downloading the Uncharted collection.

Fucking Spiders. I've had a severe fear of spiders ever since one did the best facehugger impression and jumped from the ceiling to my face. Anyway I'm browsing Yahoo at the news, I see a random story, Spider versus Cat, so while I'm thinking wtf why do they put such drivel on here I immediately look up and there was not one but 2 massive spiders as big as my palm fighting it out straight above me in the corner of my room with a really small third one watching nearby. I don't know if one was protecting the baby or if one was trying to mate or whatever but the other was having none of it. Anyway both are now crunched but they scared the shit out of me.

I read somewhere that if you buy the disk version of Metal Gear Solid (to save you having to download >20 GB), there's nothing on the disk but an 8 MB exe which connects to their servers and downloads the whole fucking game. What's the point of that? :\

Aw, it's been a while since I facepalmed you but that was a truly retarded comment on a number of levels. The whole point of a disc-based version is to deliver the game on discs. People all over the world have slow internet and usage limits. Fuck them though, right?

It's adequate thanks and no please do tell me more about your skag-fueled broadband that I genuinely have not heard anything about until right then when you mentioned it for the first time.
